Annie's POV
I cautiously stepped out of the excitement and hysteria of Heathrow airport, London. I tugged my pink floral suitcase along side me and took a deep breath. I inhaled the sweet spring air and a gentle breeze brushed past me, causing my hair to float around like an octopus. I turned to see me best friend, Olivia gazing fondly at the mass amount of taxi's zooming past us.
This was out first proper time away from home. Our plan was to stay for four days: to go shopping, sightseeing and hopefully find somewhere to stay when we come back in summer for real. Last year, myself and Olivia auditioned for jobs as dancers and in January we found out we had both got the job. This was amazing for us. To come from a small town in Scotland and now have a job in one of the most amazing destinations in the world. Of course, we were horrendously nervous but who wouldn't be?
"We're here Olivia! We're in London!" I shrieked
"ahhhhhhhhhhh!" She screamed.
We jumped around for a bit and then signaled for a taxi and within seconds we were seated inside one. I looked around intently at everything that passed us, taking in every single little detail. I couldn't help but allow a small smirk to form on my face. I turner round to see Olivia, grinning like a cheshire cat. The taxi pulled up at our hotel, we thanked the driver and made our way inside. We were staying in 'The Trafalger, Hilton Hotel.' After receiving our keys we retreated to our rooms, they were side by side.
Olivia's POV
I entered my room and began to unpack some of my belongings. I hadn't taken very much as I was only here for four days. I hung up some jackets and dresses and placed my shoes at the bottom of the wardrobe. I looked out my window and I had a great view of parts of London. It was 4 O'clock now and I was really tired. I sat on my bed and opened up a gossip magazine. I was then startled by a knock on the door. I unhurriedly dropped my magazine and casually approached the door and let Annie in. She appeared to be much more awake than I was; leaping around like a kangaroo.
"Lets go for a walk" she suggested, once placing herself on my couch.
"I'm too tired, I just want to chill" I said honestly.
She then looked quite upset.
"but I guess a short walk won't do much harm" I gave in.
"YAY!" she screamed. "Meet me in the lobby in 15 mins"
Once she had left I changed into a pair of casual jeans and a jack wills hoodie. I brushed my hair gently and touched up my make up, before putting on my converse. I then left the room, making sure I had switched off the light.
Annie's POV
I sat in the lobby watching some reality tv show on the television but Olivia soon appeared. We left the hotel and began to walk. We weren't too sure where we were going but I enjoyed just walking and chatting about the things we hoped to do together once we actually lived here. We were deep in conversation when we were startled by a screaming girl who ran past us, nearly knocking us off our feet. At first I just accepted that it was London and there was lots of weird people here but after I saw another group of girls speed past us, I was very curious. Olivia and I decided to follow these crazy girls to see what they were fussing over. We came to a huge crowd of people which appeared to be growing by the second. We made sure we were out of the way, so stood a few meters away.
"What's going on?" I asked a girl who was running past me.
"ONE DIRECTION ARE HERE!" She shouted as she ran away.
Olivia and I giggled at this. Back at home, we both loved one direction. I tried my hardest to see over the large crowd. It appeared they had been shopping and didn't wear a very good disguise. I felt kind of sorry for them, being charged at when all they wanted was to shop. Olivia and I decided to head back to the hotel, as much as we would have loved to stay, we didn't want to annoy anyone. We turned around a began to walk back to the hotel. I suddenly felt another body smack with full force against my side. I lost balance and fell to the ground. After a few seconds, my eyes focussed again and I noticed Olivia lying on the gravel next to me. I then saw a hand gesturing to help me up. Before looking at the face of this mysterious hand I grabbed it because I could hear a mass of screeching girls approaching me. I stumbled to my feet and saw a handsome boy, with thick brown curly hair and piercing green eyes staring back at me, looking very worried.
"I'm so sorry! Are you okay?" He asked desperately.
"yeah.." I managed to mumble.
Olivia's POV
I sat on the ground taking in my surroundings. I looked up at a familiar face. He had brown, effortlessly cool hair and beautiful tanned skin. I had seen him before in magazines and on tv but he looked even better in person. He helped me up to my feet.
"Thanks" I said to him.
"Sorry about that" he replied.
Our eyes locked for a moment and he was then dragged away from me. I stood next to Annie and watched him and four other boys run away into the distance. We turned round and realized we were going to be trampled on by a sea of screaming girls if we did not move. We quickly leapt out the way and allowed them to pass us.
"Woah" I said breathlessly.
After we caught our breath. We began to walk back to the hotel. Annie and I didn't speak much to each other. I think we were still in shock at what had just happened. I couldn't stop thinking about it and I could tell she couldn't either. I kept asking myself, will we ever see them again?
