It had been a shitty week. With all the constant tormentous annoyance from Jungkook, Taehyung was sure his ears ,no wait, his whole body would have given up by now. Jungkook was a total jerk, in Taehyung's horizon of knowledge, a selfish, arrogant, sassy but not in a good way, jerk.  His precious time, when he could have done something productive (staying in home and having an anime marathon with Jimin and Hoseok isn't productive Taehyung!)but  instead, he had to spend it with Jungkook. He had tons of clips with him now, the clips which would exactly pin point who and what a Jock is. It was a whole week worth of work. 

Tuesday he had a mini filming session with the Jocks in the special Jocks corner. Sure it was annoying, but he couldn't say the same to Yoongi and Namjoon, who he had previously hated thinking them to be as peculiarly sassy and annoying as Jungkook, but turns out they were not. Instead he quite took a liking to them, considering the fact that they were as stupid as the two best friends he had and well he himself. Yoongi seemed cold hearted, but with the way he always took care of Namjoon when he did one of those small mistakes (only according to Namjoon that is, because later those small mistakes always turned out to be a great disaster) and the way he always sticked to Jungkook, nurturing and taking care of him as if he was a new-born, he was a fairly kind hearted person. Namjoon might seem genius and smart, not that he isn't, with the results that he brings every terminals Taehyung isn't sure why he isn't classed as a nerd but instead as a Jock, given that he was also pretty foolish. But he was always right, he could take control of situations effortlessly, and maybe that was the reason why he was made the team captain of THE JOCK FUSBAL TEAM (they literally call their team that). And these all little things, Taehyung had learnt about them whilst being stuck together with  the two almost every time, as the two practically followed Jungkook everywhere because 'the kid is always up to no good.' 'Yeah if we weren't there, he'd have brought a hurricane to this place.' Well fair. Truth be told, Namjoon and Yoongi also seemed to like Taehyung's company. They also tried to show their apology to Taehyung, well maybe it was only Taehyung but he did feel like they were reaching out to him. Anyways, he liked their company too. And in a week time, he became really close to them.

Wednesday ended in a blur, he only remembers going out with Jungkook in a bar and waiting for him outside it, because 'although your filming, this place isn't made for geeks.' Whatever, he obviously didn't want to go in anyways. 

Thursday he had classes, so he couldn't really give any time to his film, he didn't see much of Jungkook too. But when the final bell rang and the day ended and he was making his way out of the college, he saw Jungkook waiting for him by the gate. It came as a great surprise, and although he didn't want to be seen as an idiot, he couldn't hide away his disbelief. So the whole college might have stared at him, like he was a complete maniac, while he made his way to the gate with his mouth wide agape, but he really didn't care. And when Taehyung was expecting a big explanation to why Jungkook was waiting for him, Jungkook just shrugged and let out a 'well, i wanted to drop you home' . This obviously brought a great havoc in Taehyung's mind and he couldn't help but think about sooo many things but again he was proved wrong the other day. Because Friday was hell, maybe it was in Taehyung's stupor to think maybe friendship was blooming in between them, but after Friday he concluded that he and Jungkook could and would never be friends.

Friday was the big game, and Jungkook had told him to tag along a. for his film of course, and b. because he didn't have access to his car (just because he broke some traffic rules, and he was suspended from using his car for a month) and he needed someone to take him to the stadium. "Why can't you ask any one of your Jock friends? And Yoongi and Namjoon? You could've asked them too right?" Taehyung had asked when Jungkook had knocked on his door and had asked him to give him a ride. "Are you kidding me? I can't ask them to give me a ride. I can't hurt my pride. And Yoongi and Namjoon have already reached there and they say they are too lazy to pick me up." Taehyung wanted to reject him, really wanted to, but the doe eyes, pouty lips and pleading facade he put up was totally irresistible and Taehyung couldn't help but agree. And that's how that day he found himself stuck in the middle of thousands of people, trying to save his camera from being snatched up by some overly-football-whelmed person, and in the midst of it all, trying to capture some good shots for his film because 'I can at least use this time a little productively right?'. 

But while the game was going on, Taehyung found himself unintentionally staring at the younger boy. The way sweat dripped off of his face leaving a trace and into his body, the way his muscles flexed while he moved, the way his eyes shimmered passion and determination. And although he had wanted to watch the whole game, he found himself mostly(all the time) staring at the boy. And once in a while, Jungkook's eyes would find him and he had felt the heat running up his face, that sudden feeling of blush creeping up to his cheeks. And he swears, it was all involuntary, he had never meant to stare at the handsome boy, he had never meant to notice how good he played, he had never meant to notice how his body and his abs and his muscled flexed, he had never meant it at all, it was just his minds playing games with him, and he refused to think that it was his heart. 

The game ended after an intense two hours. It had been a tie and a final game of 30 minutes would determine the winner. Taehyung was actually really nervous, he didn't know why. He was nibbling on his nails, he was mumbling incoherent words. Yet again he didn't know why. 'Just for the team, for Yoongi and Namjoon' but he was too stubborn to accept that the worry might have been for Jungkook too. The 30 minutes started and it was a tough competition. Both of the team playing with all their might, giving it their best. The clock was ticking down, and even with only a few minutes remaining no one had scored a goal. It was only in the last 45 seconds that Jungkook and his team had dribbled almost perfectly, showed up great co-ordination, team work and well the last second dramatic kick from Jungkook's side that made the team jump in victory. Jungkook had scored, and had made the team a way to the finals. It was a triumph, and Taehyung doesn't know why but he felt so proud. So proud that it got him running from the seats to the ground and hugging the crap out of Jungkook. Why Jungkook you ask? Well he doesn't know. He was just soo proud and soo happy that he just went out and gave a hug to anyone who was nearest to him. Well that was his excuse, but Taehyung Jungkook was behind three other people in the field. Whatever. 

Taehyung was happy, oh so proud and happy, so that time he didn't give a shit about the surrounding, didn't even care if the person he was currently choking out of the breathtaking(literal) hug had really wanted to be hugged. Well he got the answer when he was shoved aside, rather roughly. He lost his balance and stumbled down. He looked up only to find Jungkook busy with other team members, 'he isn't even guilty' he thought. It was annoying. He knew it was his mistake to ever think out of his stupor, but he couldn't help but feel a little sad, dismal and a little betrayed? He looked away for once, not even trying to hide away the disappointment  on his face. But then again, he looked up, reluctant and hesitant but yearning, and what he saw kind of angered him to a great extent. Jungkook just casually walked away, the proud and triumphant smile never leaving his face, didn't even turn back, didn't even recognize his presence, just walked away. And Taehyung knew he had no rights to , he was in no place to, but he felt betrayed really betrayed.
