And the 'tomorrow' they were waiting for came by pretty fast. Say it was because of excitement or not, but the two boys found the time passing by pretty fast, and it was not long before the time they were anticipating finally approached, the time that they scheduled their meet.

The doorbell indicated the arrival of Jeon Jungkook. Taehyung was busy handing out dishes to his mom, and the doorbell startled him enough to have his mother's precious plate plummet down the floor, and break into pieces. (well because Jungkook might have been a tad awfully bit earlier than the time he was supposed to come). Mrs. Kim couldn't even curse at the poor boy, sensing that his friend had arrived, and she was all in all a first impression enthusiast. And finding a mother irrationally scolding her son, isn't such a good first impression now is it? So she made her way to the front door, but not forgetting to give her son a glare, a sign that 'this is not over here, we will catch on later!' And Taehyung couldn't help but let out a small yelp, because as much as he was excited for the day, he was just as scared of his mother.

Jungkook was sincerely eager, and he might have had thoughts of dressing his best that day and going with some presents because how lovely it'd be to make a good impression on Taehyung's parents. But pfft who am I kidding, why do I even need to make up a good impression, might as well wreck the whole house and blame it on Taehyung. Nonetheless, the boy found himself skipping to a florist's, asking for a bouquet of flower. He didn't want to go overboard asking for roses, because although he wasn't a typical cliche person, he still didn't want to make the Kims take a wrong interpretation. And that's why he bought Tulips, pink tulips, as in happiness and good wishes. Perfect!

The first thing he noticed when he reached Taehyung's house was that the house was small, although two storeyed, really small in comparison to his own. But it had that homey feeling to it, and he couldn't help but smile. He made his way to the front door and really with every step he took, he could feel his heart beating a mile per second. He was anxious, he didn't even know why all of a sudden the nervousness took over him but there he was, standing on the front door, fiddling with his hands, pacing back and forth and trying to come up with something coherent to say to the Kims. He did get his hands to ring the doorbell, although it took a pretty long time.

What he was not expecting was a mid aged woman (40 maybe?) standing on the doorsteps. She was beautiful, although with little wrinkles gracing her foreheads, she had some different aura, lovable, kind, and the sincere smile she gave, made Jungkook like her in an instant. "Must be Taehyung's mom!", he thought.

"Hello there! You must be Jungkook! It's nice to meet you!"

"Yes Mrs. Kim. Hello!"

"Come on in! We've been waiting for you!" Mrs. Kim said and opened the doors wide enough for Jungkook's tough body to fit in. And a gush of warmth rushed to Jungkook's face immediately after he took a step in the house. The house was small yet cozy and Jungkook loved it! The little living room, right after you entered the door, decorated with few sofas, and a TV, and pictures of Taehyung and Mrs. Kim hung on the wall. The whole vibe was really cheerful.

"Taehyung's in the kitchen. Was helping me with some of the things." Mrs. Kim said once Jungkook's face turned blank.

"Oh! Oh! Okay" Jungkook said coming out of his trance, and although he had met Mrs. Kim a few minutes ago, he couldn't help but embark a little tease, because it was of course Taehyung that they were talking about. "But Mrs. Kim, you know, I'd highly advise you not to let Taehyung anywhere near the kitchen!"

And Mrs. Kim let out a small laugh. "Oh needless to say, he broke a plate 5 minutes after he entered the kitchen! He must still be in there!"
