Departure x and x Friends

"Ash....Ash!..ASH!" Samantha yells into her friend ear to wake her up after a few minuets of trying, "Ash...if you don't get your but up right now..I will pour water on your face -_-" She said as she was starting to get ticked of by the sleeping mess in front of her, "Thats it!" Ash immediately shot straight up out of snooze land once a freezing glass of water splashed onto her face.

"Hey! What was that for!" She said while trying to ring out all of the cold water from her long hair.

"You wouldn't get up, it was geting annoying" Samantha replied back with a sour expression plastered on her face.

"What's so important today that I had to be cruelly woken up with a splash of freezing water to the face?" Ash said while flopping back onto the now wet grass. A few seconds passed by as a cool and relaxing breeze filled the air and made the tree's levees sway back and forth.

"...are you kidding me Ash? You were so pumped up for this and now the next morning you just up and forget all about it....why am I not surprised..." Samantha said as she face palms at her friends stupidity and sighs, "Today is the day of the Hunter exam.." She said slowly to make sure Ash heard every word.

A few more seconds pass of silence until the brown haired girl jumps up from the spot she was siting in out of excitement, "Then what are we waiting for?! Let's go!!" Ash said about to run off only to be pulled back by Sama from the hood of her jacket.

"Hold up, don't you think we should..I don't know..prepare? -_-" Sama said with clear annoyance in her voice then she shakes her head, "I truly do wonder what would happen to you if I was not here to help you" She said in 'proper' form to try and prove her point. However Ash only payed attention to the first half of what she said and started packing some bare essentials that they would need from a first aid kit to some spare food if they needed. 

"Now are we good?" Ash asked her while strapping the backpack that she placed all of her stuff in onto her.

"I guess so, we did not have a lot of trouble choosing what to pack because..well we do kind of live in a forest." she sweat dropped when she said this and looked around at all of the trees and animals in the distance.

"Then let's go!" Ash yelled out and grabbed Sama's hand forcing her to run along side the crazy kid. They then made there way through the street, heading towards the port where the ship they were going to take was deporting at.

As Ash stepped onto the boat her cheerful personality was replaced by a calm and collected one. Samantha stepped onto the ship and glanced to the side as other applicants scowled and glared at her and her 'sister'. All the other applicants seemed to mingle along with each other in hope to find powerful allies. Ash took no notice of the stares of the candidates and made her way to the corner of the ship until an applicant stepped in front of her, blocking her from going any further.

"Lil' girl, ya' shouldn't be here. Ya' should be with ya' mother doin' chores." The applicant then snorts, then bursts out into laughter. He then spots Sama "awe that ya' older sis that came to protect ya' from the big meanie?" Then the people around them also burst into laughter as he grins and crosses his arms across his chest in accomplishment. Sama then looks at him, her eyebrows arose with amusement. This man was fat, and I mean fat! They were a bit surprised that he could even handle his own weight.

Ash lifted up her chin to look at the man while she tusked in exasperation, "Tch...just 'cause I'm a girl doesn't mean that I cant become a Hunter" the corner of Ash's lip curved upward, forming a smirk. The cheerful and innocent Ash was no longer there.

Sama taped the side of her cheek as she glanced at the applicant across from her, "Oh, by the way, we don't have a mother she has passed a long time ago due to a murder." She said with a emotionless face as always.
