Test x Of x Tests

The group of five finally arrived at Dolle Harbor, Zaban City. The five of them walk out of the ship with their things, Gon and Ash went in front of the captain with bright smiles planted on their face.

They both shook hands with the captain, "Thanks Captain we had a great time!" Ash and Gon said in a unison.

The captain chuckled and a puff of smoke came out of his mouth "I had fun as well. Right, As a token of my appreciation, l'll give you some advice. Look, see that big cedar tree on the hilltop? You should make your way there first. It's a shortcut to the exam site." He said.

"A shortcut? Got it!" Gon said.

Sama gritted her teeth once she felt someone's presence behind the barrels.

She then sent a look to Ash, after a bit of time Ash looked around after realizing what Sama meant, her lips soon formed a 'o' shape "Sorry captain but we need to go! Have a good day!" She said as she grabbed Gon's hand making him blush but quickly recover when Ash whispered to him.

"Sama and I realized that there's a guy eavesdropping on us. We better hurry." She whisper in his ear and he nodded.

Ash and Gon then bid their farewell and ran to where Sama, Kurapika and Leorio were standing.

"Huh... That's strange." Leorio said as he stared at the map board.

"What's wrong Orio-San?" Ash innocently asked the old man.

"According to th- HEY! Don't call me that!" Leorio yelled, almost not catching what the young girl had said.

"Hm? What's wrong with the nickname I gave you? I think It sounds cute..." Ash mumbled to herself quite loudly, pondering what was wrong with the nickname. As she pondered, the snickers from the other three companions could be heard.

"Hmph....anyway, inside of this notice l received, the exam is supposedly being held somewhere in Zaban City." Leorio said and pointed his finger at the board, "Right now, we're here. That tree is in the opposite direction." He said.

Sama looked down at Gon and Ash, "Perhaps you misheard him." She asked Gon since Ash was busy writing stuff down on a piece of paper in the notebook she was carrying.

Gon shook his head. "No, he told us to head toward that cedar tree."

"And this notice isn't any help Where excatly in Zaban City are we meant to go?" Leorio said while holding a paper that contained information about the exam that they got from the captain.

"Our task is to find the exam site, using a limited amount of information. Just another test before we'll be allowed to take the Hunter Exam." Kurapika stated and Leorio sweatdropped.

"I-I knew that! I already knew that!" Leorio retorted.

Ash closed her eyes as she focused on the sounds around her, feeling the guy's presence and hearing him coming closer. She calmed down, snapped out of it and grab Gon's hand again, catching him by surprise.

"Anyways, I think we should go check it out. The captain must have had a reason to suggest that." Ash said with Sama nodding her head in agreement and began to drag Gon away with Sama close behind.

"Hey, hey...you're serious? The bus to Zaban is about to leave we should just take it." Leorio said while pointing to the bus behind him.

Sama waved her hand without looking at the old man and the blonde-haired kurta.

Leorio sighed, "*Sigh* They gotta learn that you can't trust everyone." He said.

"You two coming or not?" Sama said with a blank expression, "at least I know there's two less competition to worry about."
