Je' taime (An Adrienette Fanfic)

Chapter 8

Okay, so recap from last chapter: Marinette found out the cards, Adrien and his jacket, were all a dream, sadly. But the next day she went to the park to meet Alya but met Adrien instead. He asked her a question about some particular dream he had and it seemed like they had the same dream! Now here's Marinette running to Alya. :3

"Mari, you okay there honey?" Alya asked.

"Y-yeah, Adrien is just giving me a weird feeling and if I stayed there a bit more longer I would have fainted." I admitted.

Alya rolled her eyes.

"Cmon! Let's start!" Nino said impatiently.

"Ok so my dad hid eggs all over the park so stay in the park only. There's this one special egg but it's hard to find. Whoever finds the egg is the champion of egg hunting and they get to see what's inside. Mari give the baskets." Alya commanded.

"Okay." I handed each of them the baskets then quickly gave Adrien his basket.

"Sweet!" Nino cheered.

"I wonder who will get it?" Adrien thought out loud.

"Ready? Set! Go!" Alya yelled.

Everyone dashed and went to find eggs. There were easy ones so I grabbed those quickly and put them in my basket. I can't wait to see what's inside of these eggs.

Time passed by but no one found the egg. I looked in the bushes, in the trees, the playground, but I saw nothing.

There was this egg but it wasn't special but I tried to grab it anyways then I bumped into someone.

"Sorry Marinette!" Adrien apologized. "Here you can have the egg."

I stared at him then shook my head. "Haha it's okay. You can have it." I smiled.

He smiled back. "Nah, you can have it."

"O-oh okay, thank you." I stuttered.

I backed away then tripped over a bush. "AH!" I yelped.

"Are you okay Marinette?!" Adrien asked.

"Hehe.. yup!" That was embarrassing....

He offered his hand and I hesitantly took it. I rubbed my bottom. I don't remember this bush being here... I turned around again.

"Don't trip again okay?" Adrien laughed.

I rolled my eyes but I fell forward.

"Hey! You distracted me!" I cried.

"Ah! I didn't mean to!" Adrien said behind me. I could tell he was trying not to laugh.

I saw something shiny in front of me.

"THE EGG!" Adrien and I both said at the same time.

I pushed myself up and got the egg. Adrien tried to get the egg but missed and hugged me accidentally.

I think I'm a tomato now.

"Ah there you two lovers are- huh?!" Alya was surprised.

Nino was behind her.

"Oh you dudes found the egg! Awesome." Nino smiled.

"I didn't realize you guys would go off behind a bush and-" Alya smirked.

"A-Alya! It's not what you think!" I blushed.

"Heh... sorry Marinette." Adrien apologized. He was blushing.
