Chapter 9

It was already Saturday. The whole day I wondered if Adrien would still be coming tonight, it really bothered me. I want him to go, but I feel like he won't....

I had my outfit already prepared since I was so excited to go to Jagged Stone's concert, but when I looked at it again I wondered why I put so much effort into this outfit when he's not even going to be there.

I sighed as I put on the outfit.

I closed the door behind me and started walking to where the concert was being held. I wasn't that far when I saw a fancy car pass by.

The driver got out and opened the door and a guy stepped out. He was wearing a beanie, sunglasses, and a mask to hide his face.

Hmm, must be a celebrity.

He started walking to the entrance. I didn't end up in the same line as him.

The line I had to go in was really long, also it was really slow. I saw the guy enter already.

Where's Adrien?

You'll see him. Don't worry.

How do you know that? It's impossible. Look at all these people! How am I suppose to find anyone here?!

Fate finds a way.

Ha ha ha. I knew it. He's not coming and its all my fault.

After waiting for a really long time, I was finally next.

"Do you have your ticket?" The person in front asked.

I nodded and gave him the ticket.

"Thanks. You are free to go inside." The person gestured.

I walked inside and saw a thousand, no, more than a thousand people in the building. Also it was really dark and the only lights were coming from the stage.

"ARE YOU READY TO ROCK!" Jagged Stone yelled into the mic.

The crowed screamed in response.

I panicked.

At this rate I won't find anyone!

Calm down. You'll find them.

I walked around and tried to find a seat. The concert was already starting and I still haven't managed to find I seat. I haven't even found Alya, Nino, or Adrien yet.

Ugh I thought this was going to be fun but I can't find anyone in this sea of people.

"Marinette is that you?" A voiced yelled over the noise.

I turned around and saw the person I saw a while ago catch up to me.

Oh it's that guy. Wait why does he know my name? AHH A STRANGER!

"HA! It is you. Come on I found a seat." He yelled and grabbed my hand as he guided me through the crowd. I felt tingles shoot through my skin.

Great. I haven't found anyone and now I'm being led by a stranger.

We started going forward, closer to the front.

Why am I following this person? Also, how did he find a seat this close? It's packed! Oh yeah, he probably has connections.

"I managed to get some seats close to the front, lucky right?" The guy said as he found the seats and sat down.

I looked around. "Uh.. yeah you're lucky. Thanks for showing me your uh...spot but I really need to find my friends." I hesitantly replied.
