Chapter 8

Luna's P.O.V

I stand in front of the apartment building and ring the door again but no one seemed to be home. Dad had dropped me and Charlie off in front of Ryan and Matts apartment building but they weren't home. "it's ok." I say looking up at Charlie. "There's an ice cream store around the corner. I brought some money." He nods and smiles following me to the store.

Once there I order a strawberry and Vanilla cone while Charlie only takes Chocolate. "Charlie, do you make YouTube videos?" I ask. "Eh yeah sometimes. I'm not as into it as your dad is for example." "What types of videos do you make?" "Mainly vlogs or sit down videos." He answers with a smile. "We should vlog today." I tell him, looking at him and waiting for an answer. "Sure, I mean I brought the camera, so why not." He puts down his spoon, twisting in his seat and grabs his camera out of his bag.

Charlie's P.O.V

I sat down on the bed, the SD card from my camera in my hand as I push it into my computer. I wait for it to load before pressing on the little SD card icon at the bottom of my screen. The footage pops up on screen and I begin to watch the separate clips.

The first one was me and Luna introducing the video and explaining what we were doing today. Luna, who was sitting across from me looked just like her dad in that moment. The sun was shining on her face, making her freckles stand out a lot more and her green eyes seemed to be even greener.

The next clip shows me and Luna walking back towards Matt and Ryan's house. This time they answer the door and let us in. You can see Luna race up the stairs before jumping into Ryan's arms. I lower the camera and introduce myself. Ryan explains that Matt wasn't there at the moment but we could do something without him. Seconds later a dog comes walking towards us. "Lego" Luna says, the excitement clear in her voice. The dog walks up to the girl, his tail wagging.

The third clip shows Ryan turn on the PlayStation and Luna talking about something in the background and she points at something outside the window. I walk closer to her and zoom the camera onto a man walking about 8 dogs. We both laugh.

The screen stays black but you can hear all three of us yelling at Lego to move from across the screen. The yelling turns into laughter quickly and suddenly I'm picking up the camera and pointing it at the dog.

The next video was me, Ryan and Luna sitting in a car on our way to explore LA. I was sitting in the front, singing along to Meghan Trainers NO. Luna too was singing along from the backseat, Lego next to her.

The next couple of clips shows the bunch of us walking around LA, exploring the different places, talking to people and finally sitting at the beach.

I watch the clips over again and begin to plan out the layout of the video.

NEXT DAY

I was awoken by Ethan early the next morning. I rubbed my eyes before turning over and staring into his eyes. "Hey beautiful." I whisper, still tiered. "Hey, we're doing something fun today so we have to get up early. Breakfast is waiting downstairs; I still need to grab Luna." He whispers back, pressing a kiss against my forehead before getting up and leaving the room. I sigh and grab a shirt and a pair of pants, putting them on and making my way downstairs. Mark was sitting in the kitchen, 4 plates of eggs sitting in front of him as he laid a couple of bacon slices on each plate. "Good morning." He laughed, turning around and singing along to the song playing over the speakers. "Good morning." I say back with a smile on my face. "Ethan said we're doing something fun, do I get to know what it is?" I ask, sitting down at the table and making myself a cup of coffee. "Nope." Mark answered setting a plate down in front of me.
