Hai looked back at the humans again, they were looking about at the wolves around them, but Hai was not thinking suspiciously at them for that, he was wondering about the sizes of these humans, they seem to vary on age. 

Hai turned to the bunch, stopping abruptly in their path. "If I may, am I allowed to ask a question?" The group of humans looked at each other and then agreed that its ok. "Very well. Why is it that your height and sizes are different even though some of you are at the same level of power and wisdom?" At this question all of the humans were confused, what does he mean. Some other wolves had also gathered around to also know the answer to Hai's question. 

The group did not speak up for a moment before the ichiraku owner, teuchi, stept up to the wolf. "Correct me if my answer is not right. But I think the answer you're looking for is, we humans grow with age, some are different than others and grow at different paces, and then near our later years of life, we shrink again." Hai looked extremely confused at his answer.  

"Growing with age?!" He questioned surprised. "Wouldn't that make such intelligent old creatures frail?" Hai continued to question the group. Ayame then stepped up to talk. 

"I don't know how the Ookami grow, however that is just nature for us humans to grow with age. So please try not to be rude." She said with a sweet smile.  Hai's fur around his cheeks changed to a light shade, much to the group's surprise. 

A little pup ran up to Hai and nudged his leg and said. "Daddy's embarrassed!!" Hai looked down at his son and his furr whitened even more around his face. "I am not Kai! Now run back to your caretaker!" The pup only giggled and ran away. 

Hai ruffled his fur and calmed himself before saying. "Now that this matter is done, I will now show you to iyasu. I'm sure she will want to examine you whilst you are here." The group sweatdropped at his blunt nature to the subject.

The group stopped in front of a large tent like structure. (Use your imagination) They were about to walk in calmly until they heard. 

"OW, IYASU I SWEAR TO OOKA-" and then dead silence. Hai rushed inside the tent only to burst out laughing. 

The human group rushed in after, taking in the sight before them. 

It was Kagami, laying flat on a stone slab, with porcupine needles all over his body. Iyasu was standing close by, mumbling to herself as she stuck more and more needled into his body. 

Hai just chuckled once more and then asked. "Iyasu-san, did Lord Kagami anger you again. And prey-tell, what exactly are you doing?" The  agree pale yellow she-wolf only glaced at Hai slightly before going back to her work and replying. "Shitstain here was twitching and then because of that I missed the acupuncture spot and it hurt. So while he was complaining, I hit another spot and I made him go to sleep." A look of realization crossed Hai's face before quickly turning away from her and trying not to burst out laughing. 

Iyasu turned away from Kagami after she had poked all of the right acupuncture points with porcupine needles. She looked over all of the humans in her medic room and growled. 

"Why are the humans here inside the barrier, and what do they have to do with me?" She asked Hai, standing over all of the small humans. Hai sheepishly smiled. "I brung them here because I thought you might want to study them, or maybe have a quick check up on all of them." Iyasu only glared at him.
