Secret eyes (Naruto neglect story)

The next day, Kagami walked out of the of the barrier towards the village. Kagami wanted to do just walk around the village for a bit before he went to hunt. 

He was walking around when he heard "Let him go!" In a hurried jog, he went to see what was happening. 

When he got to the scene, he could see a boy in a black suit, holding up Konohamaru by his scarf. Boiling anger welled up inside of him, however he stayed calm. 'getting angry won't help the situation'  he told himself as he walked up behind the black clad boy, and breathed down his neck. "If I were you, I would let him go human." 

The boy dropped Konohamaru in surprise and slowly turned towards Kagami. Konohamaru saw Kagami and ran towards the Ookamikage and Kagami knelt down to the ground to allow the small child to climb onto his back. 

"You are from suna yes?" The boy nodded in response to Kagami's question. 

Before he could continue, a boy with red hair, appeared in a swirl of sand by the black suited boy's side, only making the boy more scared.

kagami looked upon the two, and his gaze lingered on the red haired boy. 

"Names." Kagami said, making the black haired boy say his name immediately. "Kankuro no sabaku!" He stuttered out. The red haired one only stared, and then said. 

"Mother is angry at you." This made Kagami guess that he was a jinjuriki(sp?) like he used to be. Kagami's face flushed with a wild pink that coloured his fur when the redhead males scent flowed into his sensitive nose. But he suppressed it before anyone could notice. 

"I asked what your name is." Kagami said again calmly, releasing just a little bit of his chakra to prove a point. 

The redhead only stared at him in a comfortable silence and then. "Gaara no sabaku" 

The sentence caught Kagami by surprise, but he replied with. "Kagami Ookami of the Ookami village." Kagami dipped his head in a form of greeting. 

Gaara only closed his eyes for two seconds with a slight nod back. 'beautiful' Kagami thought to himself before mentally shaking his head. 'he wouldn't like someone he just met fool' 

Gaara and his two siblings walked away, and Kagami yelled to Gaara. "It was a pleasure to meet you Gaara no sabaku!" The redhead stopped walking for a moment, and his eyes widened. Gaara's face slightly gained pink pigment, before disappearing in a whirl of sand, leaving his siblings to walk on their own.

kagami was walking around during the night after dropping Konohamaru off at his home. He then smelt something, the same smell that drove him to the brink of madness in the middle of a conversation. 

'Gaara' Kagami thought to himself as he followed the scent to a rooftop, and there he was. 

Kagami looked at the redhead calmly sitting by himself on the roof of a building, looking at the stars. Gaara looked Kagami's way and stood to his feet startled by his presence. "I'm only here to talk, I mean you no harm. Relax." Kagami said to the redhead, who did sit back down the way he was before, however his eyes never left Kagami's being, making sure Kagami didn't do something that would put himself in harm's way. 

Kagami sat down beside him, looking at the moon that had given him comfort in his- Kurama's days as a Bijju. But strangely still give him comfort. Kurama's memories are hard to discern from his own sometimes, especially in times like this. 

They sat in silence for a few moments, before Kagami spoke. "Ichibi is not letting you sleep I see. Such a troublesome raccoon isn't he?" Gaara got startled by his question, and sand started to seem out of his gourd.
