**Picture Above Is Angeline**

*Angeline's POV

I remember back to when I'd gotten my letter to Hogwarts, and how absolutely ecstatic I was. My mum had just come home from work, talking about what she had done that particular day at the office, as she did every day, when she asked me to check through the mail. As per usual, I slipped into my size four, navy blue converse, and opened the door, only to be greeted by the warm summer air of Little Whinging, Surrey. Yes. I lived in the same place as Harry Potter. Granted, I didn't live on Privet Drive, but none the less lived in the same city.

Harry and I knew each other from school, I being the only one who was friends with the poor boy. Everyone else, considering Dudley, his cousin, and the rest of the bullies rained supreme over everyone else, no one dared to go against their movement of hate and rudeness towards Harry. I, on the other hand, was kind, respectful, and a good friend to him.

Anywho, as I walked back inside and kicked off my converse, post in hand, I closed the door behind me with my foot. "Mum! You've got a bill from the office." I said dismissively to her as I passed over the light blue envelope onto the kitchen table, next to which she sat. "Ehm....a letter from Aunt Macy for Pa..." I said as I then tossed that on the table as well. "And...huh?" I said under my breath.

Keeping the front enclosure flap of the envelope down, was a deep red, wax stamp, with some sort of crest carved into it, above it, stamped with ink onto the envelope itself, another crest with 'Hogwarts' written within it. Flipping the envelope over, I discovered very intricate looking cursive, written but some writing utensil other than a pen or a pencil. The writing read:

Ms  A. Lynne,
House at the end of the block
3156 Harbor St,
Little Whinging,
SURREY

"What is that one, darling?" My mum hummed to me, folding her letter back up. "Seems to be my Hogwarts letter." I stated with a large smile plastered on my face. "I knew you'd get one. What are the requirements for this year?" She asked, looking over my shoulder as she stood up. Shrugging, I carefully opened the envelope, not daring to make a ripped mess out of it.

After I'd read the requirements, my mum decided that we'd go to Diagon Alley tomorrow to get my supplies and what not. Once I'd eaten and took a shower, I braided my, very long, might I add, auburn hair into a bunch of tiny French braids. It took about an hour and a half, but would be SO worth it in the morning. Turning around slightly to look inside the bathroom cabinet above the sink, I seemed to have not been able to find the toothpaste. "Mum!" I shouted to her, in attempt of not having to tread downstairs if I didn't have to. "Muuuuum!" I tried once more, but to no avail, I heard nothing in return. "Where in the bloody hell is that toothpaste?" I mumbled to myself, turning around a couple of times to look around the bathroom, careful to not miss the small places as to where it could've been 'hiding'.

I then heard my black, fuzzy, cocker spaniel, Parker, slightly huff at me. "Not now, love. I'm looking for something." I mumbled to him in a patient voice. He did it again, but a bit louder. "Par-" I cut myself off with a small laugh, after seeing that he had the toothpaste tube in his mouth, as if he were holding a bone. "Thanks boy..." I say with a small giggle.

After I brushed my teeth, I snagged a blanket off of my bed and threw it over my shoulders, as I walked over to the bay window of my room. Suddenly, a black owl flew onto my window sill, patiently waiting for me to open the window and let it in. I did so, letting the owl in, and unlatching the letter from a small intricate handmade latch to hold onto letters that was on the owl's ankle. It had a small silver snake on the side of the latch. "A snake...?" I wondered, confused as to whom it could've been from...though I had a rough guess. But it couldn't have been. Our families split up. Well...mum and Narcissa are still very good friends...but no. It couldn't have been.

Unrolling the letter from its former scroll-like shape, I begin to read the letter.

Dear Angeline,

Good evening, dear. I know it is a bit late to be sending you a letter, but I just wanted to check on how you are doing. Draco has received his letter today, and I'm sure you have also. Your mum had owled me earlier this evening about how she will be taking you to Diagon Alley tomorrow. I supposed I felt it somewhat necessary to owl you about the situation, and tell you that Draco and I will also be there tomorrow as well. Anywho, I hope to see you tomorrow. Oh, and do not be worried to see Draco. He is worried about seeing you too.

Have a good night, sleep well,
Narcissa Malfoy

Having read the last sentences a couple times over, I smiled, now realizing that Draco also had felt the hesitance of meeting each other once again after three long years. In truth, I did miss him. I missed his friendship. We were always so close, and not having that bond with someone my age any longer, kind of sucked. But it is what it is, I suppose. Having Draco around all of the time was absolutely amazing. Someone to owl and see all of the time. Yes. I live in a muggle neighborhood, but that doesn't mean I necessarily associate myself with them. But that is because they think I'm....different.

Just because I accidentally set off the sprinklers on a girl named Trixy Bell once at school because she stole my juice box and wouldn't give it back, isn't my fault. And although I MAY have made Billy Fishton blow milk out of his nose forcefully, wasn't my fault. He made me mad. He kept calling me, 'weirdo'. It got annoying, so I made him have a taste of his own medicine. He deserved it! Don't judge me! I know what you're thinking. Yes. I could do wandless magic. No. I was not a bad person, nor did I worship the 'Dark Lord'.

Anyway, I just couldn't wait for shopping tomorrow. It definitely shall be quite interesting.

Hey guys! So this is the first chapter. Yup. Starting from first year. Oh, I suppose I should tell you that I MAY not follow the story line directly, only so it is more of my own, instead of being exactly like the movies/and or/books.

Vote if you'd like! But please do enjoy!
