*Angeline's POV

Today was the day. The day where I'd finally board the train to Hogwarts. How to get to the designated platform, Platform Nine and Three-Quarters that is, was usually the tricky part. "Okay, so what you want to do, is stand straight in front of the pillar, calm yourself, focus, then run through. I'd do it at a fast pace, if I were you." My mum thoroughly explained to me. She was nervous about me going to Hogwarts, simply because she didn't want her little girl to grow up.

I gazed over to her with an eyebrow raised, "You serious about this?" She rolls her eyes comically and sighs. "Yes, now go. I'll be right behind you." As she ended her sentence, she pushed lightly on the small of my back. I took a sigh as I shook my head, not prepared to run into a brick wall. But it was a magical brick wall. What's the worse that could happen.

Closing my eyes and preparing for the worst, just in case something would happen, I open them, and appear to be in another station, absolutely packed with people of magical quality. "Alright dear. Do you have everything?" My mum asks.

"Yes."

"All your books?"

"Yup."

"Clothes, shoes, Toby?"

"Yup. Everything."

"Are you sure?"

"Mum!"

"Okay, okay! I love you, make sure you're safe. Owl me once you get the chance. I'm sorry your dad didn't get to see you off. He's at work with Lucius again...trying to figure things out for the minister. Don't forget to have fun. Bye, love." She said as she kissed me on the forehead and gave me a big hug. "Love you mum. Tell Pa I love him as well. Bye!" I said, then leaving to get onto the train, but not before giving my things to the man loading everything into the train, besides Tobias. Whom of which was in his cage.

Climbing onto the train, I manage to find an open cubicle, went in, and closed the door. I could've sworn I saw a familiar boy with brown shaggy hair and round glasses, but once I took a second glance out the window, he had disappeared. The next thing I new, a polite knock came to the cubicle door. Looking over to the glass and wooden door, I see a familiar smile, along with the frizziest hair I'd ever seen.

She opened the door, and I stood up immediately. "Mione!" I squealed and hugged her. She hugged back. we were very close, because we'd owl each other every day. Well, I'd owl her, and she'd send my owl back, and so on, considering she, nor her family, had an owl. Muggle parents, remember? "It's SO great to see you again!" She smiled to me. "The feeling is shared, my friend." I smirked to her.

A couple of Hermione's friends she made came in and sat with us, until a slightly chubby boy came to our door. "Excuse me, I'm very sorry to interrupt, but I've lost my toad, Trevor. Can you help me look for him? No one else will." He asked quickly, looking nervous. "Of course. What's your name?" I asked him, standing up and holding my hand out to him. "N-Neville Longbottom." He stuttered, shaking my hand. "I'm Angeline Lynne, and this is Hermione. We'll help you, right Mione?" I asked her, looking back and giving her 'the look'. "Of course." She smiled to Neville.

"We're never going to find this toad. Especially not with the lack of contribution for help from the others..." Hermione sighed. "But we have to try." I said, then spying a specific train car with an old friend inside. "Hey, Harry." I smirked, standing in the doorway of his and a red-headed boy's cubicle while Hermione goes to a different one. "Ang!" He smiles, getting up and hugging me. I hug him back, then he pulls away and I smile at the other boy and sit down across from them.

"Who's this?" I asked with a knowing smile, looking to Harry. He simply looks to the other boy. "Ron Weasley. And you?" He asks bravely. "Angeline Lynne." I smile to him and shake his hand. He smiles back and blushes slightly. "How do you two know each other?" Ron asks, looking to Harry, then to me. I just simply smirked at Harry, telling him with my eyes that he can explain.

"We went to the same muggle school together. She was my only friend there." He said sadly. "That place was bloody awful, I'm tellin' you...my goodness." I laughed, causing both boys to join in. "Wait....you said your name is Angeline Lynne...right?" Ron says slowly, seeming to catch onto something. "Yes, I believe I did." I giggled at him. "Aren't you supposed to be related to Salazar Slytherin?" Ah. He caught on. "I suppose so, yes." I smiled slightly.

"Wicked..." He said in amazement. "Aren't the Weasley anti-Slytherin?" I asked with a smirk. "Well, we're anti-Voldemort, but being the descendent of a founder for a Hogwarts house is bloody brilliant! No matter who it is. You don't seem evil." Ron seems thoroughly amused, while Harry looks confused. "Don't call her 'weirdo', though. She'll make milk come out of your nose at water gun speed." Harry started laughing, which sent me off, while Ron just kind of sat there. "That was ONCE! You and I both know he deserved it." I said between laughs.

"So...what is all of this about this Salazar guy?" Harry asked Ron and I. "I'll explain who he is at Hogwarts." Ron concluded, myself sending a thankful glance to him. He nodded back. "You wanna see a spell my brothers once taught me to turn Scabbers here, yellow?" Ron asks excitedly, while I nodded with Harry. The ginger cleared his throat and took a breath while raising his wand, about to preform the spell, when Hermione stopped in the doorway.

"Have either of you seen a toad? A boy named Neville's lost one. Oh-hi, Ang." She said in a deadpanned, bored tone to the boys, then slightly smiled at me. "No." Ron said rudely. Harry shook his head. "Oh, are you doing a spell? Let's see then." Hermione said in a tone I couldn't quite decipher. Ron cleared his throat and preformed the spell, slightly hesitantly.

"Sunshine, daisies, butter mellow...turn this stupid, fat, rat yellow!" She finished. A light made the box flight off of the rat with a start, making the poor thing squeak in fear. "Are you sure that's a real  spell? I've only tried a few, but they've all  worked for me." She sat down across from Harry and next to me. "For example." She raised her wand to Harry's glasses. "Oculus, reparo." The tape on Harry's glasses disappeared with swish and a snap.

Harry's bright blue eyes looked in an amazed fashion to his now shining bridge piece for his glasses. "Holy crickets! You're Harry Potter! I'm Hermione Granger. And...you are?" She said with a voice of uncertainty to Ronald. "Ehm, Ron Weasley." He said with a mouthful of some sort of candy. "Pleasure." She says back, unamused. "You two should get into your robes, I expect we'll be arriving soon." Mione stated, pulling me up with her, and walking out of the cubicle, then slightly turning back around a bit. "You have dirt on your nose by the way. Did you know? Just there." She informed Ron, touching the side of the bridge of her nose. In response, Ronald's nose scrunched up begrudgingly, as he rubbed his nose in the same way. It was adorable. Poor, Ronny.
