A slash of a steel blade. A splatter of blood. A thump on the ground.

A covered figure laughs at his fallen foe. "What a coward. Running away from one they can't run from." He thinks sadistically. "What fun." He swings his blade. All the blood on it gets flung away. He sighs. "Let's go, my friend." He could hear his blade agreeing.

He jumped onto a branch on a nearby tree. He hopped away from the kill site, heading home.

A man sat in his home. Waiting for his lover to return. The sound of wind alerted him of the arrival. The figure was squatted on the windowsill. The man stood up. The figure jumped down and closed the window. He turned around. "Sorry about the wait. Target took off running." "It's fine." The man said quietly, walking up to the figure. They got close enough to embrace. The figure took off his hood. The two of them embraced each other, the tired man leaning his head on the other's shoulder.

"Shall we go rest?" "Yes please..." He replied tiredly. They headed to the bedroom. The tired man collapsing on a chair. "I'll go run a bath." "Thank you." A while later, the sound of water caused the tired man to stand up. He headed to the bathroom. He saw his partner preparing a bath. He walked up to him and hugged him from behind. His lover was startled, but smiled. "All ready." "Will you join me?" He whispered into his ear. He blushed but nodded.

They spent the rest of the day loving each other, knowing the blades will protect them at all costs.

Had no inspiration all week...might be terrible. Don't be mean for the boy x boy. Seems easier to write...minus any love scenes.
