Chapter 6

As I promised I would, I wrote the chapter! (I don't know if anyone will read it though*scratches head*) I just realized... no one requested this chapter. Heck with it!

"Atsuko!"

"Atsuko!"

"Come on! Wake up already!

I heard quiet voices in the background, until I realized I was asleep. I instantly sat up and looked around.

"Kazuo-kun!? Clara!?" What happened?" then memories started flashing inside my head at school.

"I have no idea." Kazuo answered.

"Atsuko! We're in your book" Clara meowed.

"Wait. How?" I asked.

"Atsuko, you can talk to animals?" Kazuo questioned.

"Well, yes, but it's really nothing special."

"Atsuko, I think it was when you dropped your book on the ground." Clara meowed.

My eyes widened. It was my fault we were stuck here.

"Kazuo-kun. Clara. I-I'm really sorry for getting us into this mess." I said as I could feel streams of tears fall off my face.

"What are you saying?" Kazuo said.

"I-it was my fault we're stuck here. I'm very sorry." I replied while wiping away tears.

"Come on! It's not your fault, Atsuko." Clara came over to cheer me up.

"It's not your fault, Chiyo-san." Kazuo tried to comfort me.

"Thank you, you guys." I finally calmed down.

"What do we do now?" Kazuo asked.

"I guess, we just start looking for people to help us." I suggested.

"Okay. Let's get on our way." Kazuo replied.

(Meanwhile)

"Hey! Hey, captain? Look at that young lady over there. She looks kinda pretty."

"Yeah. Yeah. Can we keep her? Can we keep her, captain?"

"Oh my. You fellas became useful for once. The lass seems to be of my fancy. Get her boys!"

"Clara, you seem to know your way around here."

"Well, I find my way around things." Clara boasted.

I smiled at her then I felt something go around me and I blacked out. "Why do these things always happen to me?!" I loudly thought.

[[Kazuo's perspective]]

"MEOW!!!" I hear Clara.

"What is it, Clara? And where's Chiyo-san?"

"Meow" she pointed her nose towards the left.

"What happened this time?"

I ran as fast as I could to catch up to the cat and she led us to a beach. But there was a ship. A pirate ship.

"Let's find a way in." I nodded to Clara.

"Meow" she replied.

[[Atsuko Perspective]]

I finally came to, and I could smell the scent of salt in the floorboards, I'm guessing I'm in a place with water, and my hands were tied behind me. It was painful. "Why?" I thought.

Then I heard footsteps coming down the stairs. Then I came face to face with a pirate.

"What do got here? Such a lovely lass we got here." he slipped off the gauze in my mouth.

"What are you planning to do with me?" I tried to act tough.

"Oh that will be decided later. For now, the captain wants to see you. So you better be good or there will be consequences."

I kept quiet, while looking around, finding a way out of this mess. When I took a glimpse of pieces of glass on the ground. I quietly grabbed a piece and cut through the rope and grabbed the nearest weapon I saw, which was just a sword, and pointed it at the pirate.

"A feisty one, ain't' ya? Whatever. If it's a duel you want, fine. But just know, you have no chance of winning." he gave a smirk.

"What was I even thinking? Thinking I could make it out of this place alive. Come on, think of something." I thought.

"Just jesting with ya dearie" he said with a grin and lowered his sword.

I was so surprised, I had no clue what to do. Wait, if I leave there's no way I could even escape with the other pirates around.

"You look quite a bit lost there." he smiled. "Just stay close to me, if you don't want, the others will get you."

Was he helping me? Why would he do that? I tried my best to stay behind him. We ended up on the docks of a village to town, I'm not quite familiar with this place.

"It's like you've never left the dungeon in your life." he stated.

"Why did you help me?" I asked.

"I've got my reasons and you've got yours, so let's just leave it at that, got that?" he murmured while looking around wary.

I could tell something was up so I looked around too, 'til I caught a glimpse of soldiers in shining silver armor. Then I felt a hand grasp my arm and pull me and it into an alleyway.

"I recommend that you stay away from those men, just to be safe." the pirate insisted.

"W-wait." I felt my hand get pulled and felt a pair of lips on them.

"Please stay safe."

Anyone expect that? I thought so. I'm rereading this... I died at just how stupid this was.  I'll need to work things out on this.

So! How's the story so far? Interesting? The worst work you've ever encountered so far on Wattpad (or maybe life)? Hopefully I can make this story work out to be good.
