Narrator: Case and Bianca get back to their town in a couple days. Bianca goes home to tell her followers on twitter that Case is back. Case goes hoke only to find Brenda laying on his familys sofa, crying her eyes out.
"Whats wrong?!" I yell to Brenda. James comes down the stairs. "She's been looking for you." He says to me. He trows me some necklace. It has a RUBY on it. "What is this?" I ask. "It was my moms, she gave it to me after.... they told her." Says Brenda. "Told her what?" I ask. "She is going to die very soon because they found CANCER in her lungs." She replies.
"Oh my god... no..." I blurt out. Brenda is still in tears. "Way to go Romeo." James whispers as he passes by. "He's dealt with me for the past two days or so." Says Brenda. "It's been no trouble." Says my sister Piper as she emerges from the kitchen. "This might bit be the wrong time, but how did all of you get into my home?" I ask. "James has a key." Says Piper, putting her pickle to her lips.
Brenda grabs my hand. "I need you." She whispers. I look her in the eyes. She is trying to hold back her tears. As I begin to make a response my phone rings.
