Uneasiness was present for the rest of the day after the sorting of the students

"Apwe (Brother) are you sure you will be alright there?" A slim and voluptuous girl asked Hagorn.

"Yes, I'll take care of myself. How about you Agane? I heard that you're gonna be posted in Lireo?"

"Yes I am, I'm going to do my best so that Ado (Father) won't be disappointed" the younger Hathor looked enthusiastic.

Hagorn felt a pinch in his heart, Agane was his only sibling, half-sibling. She was born because off ill-fate.

Hathoria never bowed to one deity. They worship all three, but the ones that comes first was the deity of the fiery pits of Balaak, Arde. One time Arvak had a dream of Arde instructing him to attack one of the temples of Emre in the free markets. And Arvak did what he has been told, it was also during that time that they were asking for another child to succeed the throne.

Emre was enraged because of what Arvak has done so he pulled the strings of fate, did something with Arvak and his wife's pagniniig. Instead of meeting his wife in his dream, he met a hathorian commoner which he mistook for as his wife and then Agane was born.

For a royal Hathor sitting in the throne, the conception of a female child is an omen and the fact that the one who conceived is from they considered a dirty blood only makes it worse. Agane's mother was sentenced to death right before she was born. It was Hagorn's mother who lifted the sentence as she felt remorse killing an unborn child.

She accepted Agane into their family but was not given the full status of a royalty. Instead, she was given the highest rank a highborn Hathor can get when she grows up, the Commanding General of all the troops.

But Arvak still did not love nor even looked at Agane as his own. He physically abuses her whenever they meet. Because she serves as a reminder for him that he was the very first King of Hathoria that brought disgrace to their bloodline.

After Hagorn's mom died he was the only one who cared to treat Agane with love. Agane is constantly looking for their father's approval in hopes that one day he will treat her as a daughter and not as a common servant.

In return, Hagorn is the only one that Agane is loyal to. She is ready to give her life for her dear brother.

"I promise to go to Sapiro when I have free time brother, I'll make myself a good volunteer in Lireo" the petite girl smiled, she still can see the scars inflicted by his father in her face.

"Well okay. Don't make me come there in Lireo to fetch you up if you end up crying" Hagorn tussled his sister's hair as she runs to her group who's already marching out of the gates. Then he spotted three familiar figures walking closer to him.

"Hagorn!" Mine-a waved at him

He forced a smile and a sunny attitude.

"Aren't you leaving a bit early?" He asked.

"We still need to have our life essence encoded in the barriers of Adamya so we can easily pass back and forth through it" Enou answered

"They're that strict?" Hagorn's forehead creased.

"For all I know you're just gonna miss me" Raquim joked and did a friendly headlock to Hagorn, but the latter was not in the mood for him.

Hagorn pushed him out of instincts and Raquim fell on his back.

"Ow" Raquim groaned

"Hagorn?! What was that for?" Mine-a scolded him which made him even more grumpy.
