Clash of the Quartet i

There haven't been any signs of daylight but the commotion of the citizens is audible within the castle walls, news about the trials to choose the new queen has spread like wildfire in just few hours after it was announced. And it's quite a rare occasion for someone to be able to witness this event in their lifetime.

Alena's Quarters

"Are you ready your highness?" Muyak, the little attendant inquired to the aqua princess who is still in her bed.

"I don't know Muyak, a part of me is still asking if this is all worth it" Alena closed her eyes to psyche herself up

"I just hope that whomever it is that gets crowned between you four will love the kingdom just as the Queen Mother did" Muyak sincerely said before using magic to lift Alena's weapon and placed it beside her table.

Pirena's Room

"This is the day Sangre Pirena, the day that everyone will witness your greatness" Gurna whispers to the fiery princess as she puts some kind of battle make up on her

"I can't wait to be queen" Pirena smirked

"And you will be, there's no one more suited in ruling over this low-lives other than you your highness" the scheming attendant had a maniacal grin as she checks for the last time Pirena's appearance

"They won't know what will hit them" Pirena's unusually fired up.

"Crush them to dust!" Gurn's eyes glowed with malice

"You don't have to tell me that" Pirena grabbed her sword and and swung it around, leaving embers in the air.

Royal Barracks

"Your highness, what are you doing here?" Muros asked the youngest Sangre who's staring blankly at the Ceremonial Temple where in a few hours she and her sisters will battle it out to see who's going to succeed the throne.

"H-Huh? Oh it's you Muros, I'm just psyching myself up" Danaya gave a reassuring smile to the Mashna.

"You know we soldiers are told to serve the one sitting in the throne but to tell you the truth I'm really rooting for you" Muros looked Danaya straight in the eye before leaving quickly as if he was a little embarasses.

". . . . Well that was weird" Danaya was caught off guard by what the Mashna has said.

"I'm gonna show them that age doesn't matter when vying for the queenship" Danaya let out a deep sigh before going into evictus.

Amihan's room

"Your highness I think it's time for you to prep up" Ades woke the Sangre

"The day has finally come Ades" Amihan had a bitter smile in her face.

"I know you don't want to battle your sisters your highness but sometimes we don't really have a choice in this lifetime" Ades sighs as she brings a drink to the aerial princess.

"I just hope that whatever may be the result of this, they will still remember at the end of the day that we are sisters" Amihan took a sip before coming out of her bed.

Lirean Royal Chambers

"May I know what is it that's making you have this gloomy expression in your face Hara Minea?" the Great Sage of Adamya asked the queen.

"I don't know Imaw, I just have this premonition on what's going to happen today" Minea waved her hand and a visual of the temple grounds appeared in thin air. The gates are now being opened, welcoming the spectators for today's event.
