Mr. Andrew was examining Jason. I was sitting in the living area. Mr. Andrew was the man about whom Jason had told about, his father. I was going through the photographs that were hung in the living room that Mr. Andrew appeared.
"How is Jason now?", I asked without realizing that whom am I talking to.
"I'm sorry, its just that I am concerned about him."
He smiled at me and said,"Well that's ok. You don't need to be sorry about anything.
And Jason will be fine in no time. It's just that he has been hurt with a silver metal so the pain will last for long."
"What's with the silver?", I asked.
"As you already know everything about him so there is nothing to hide, werewolves are affected by silver metal. They cannot withstand it. It is the only metal that can even kill them, and fortunately he was hurt at the back not anywhere but near his heart otherwise it would have been difficult for him to survive."
Mr. Andrew's words gave me a sudden blow. I could never imagine losing Jason.

"Would you like some tea?", asked Mr. Andrew with a warm smile that I couldn't deny. He got up and made his way towards the kitchen.
He was tall, thin and a man of great esteem. He had a mixture of black and white hair and looked around 50. And from his personality no one could judge that he is a scientist.
The house was well built. Everything looked opulent from the gleaming wood floors covered in loving throw rugs to the sheer curtains billowing like mist on the wall of floor to ceiling windows that faced a slope and then a sunset. Nothing else. The furnishing was old but had a story to tell, so they had to be antiques with what looked like handcarved workmanship each area of the room melting into the beauty of the next with some delicate settees next to more heavy bookcases and fireplaces that mated with the walls that appeared to be actually used.
Mr. Andrew appeared holding a tray. The aroma of tea filled the room. While having tea none of us spoke a word. After finishing I kept the cup aside and said,
"It was a wonderful cup of tea."
"Well in that case Thank you Miss Katherine for appreciating", his smile reached each end of his face till eyes.
"Where is the way to washroom, Mr. Andrew?", I asked.
And he showed me the way by pointing with his finger to the opposite side of the room where we were standing.
While I was coming back I saw Jason standing in the living room and talking something to Mr. Andrew. I knew if I interrupted they would stop their conversation so I overheard their conversation. At first I didn't get what were they talking about but later everything was clearly audible.

"Do you have any idea in what trouble have you put that young girl into?", said Mr. Andrew annoyingly.
"I know, but I couldn't keep myself away from her", said Jason.
"You aren't meant to make connections with a human", said Mr. Andrew.
Jason didn't say a word and directly looked in the direction where I was standing and said,
"I know but I can't do anything about it because I'm already in love with her. "

Hearing that i felt like having the entire world in my arms. For a moment It just felt as if it was just me and him standing in the room. I wanted to take him in my arms.
It was like a moment of total admiration. My heart stopped and I just knew that in that moment I'm the only thing that matters in the entire world to him.

I shut my eyes and took a deep breathe and came out of the room as if I didn't hear a thing. As I entered the living room I asked, "How do you feel now?"
"Never better before", said Jason giving a warm smile.
"As it is already late, why don't you stay here tonight", said Mr. Andrew.
"I'm sorry but I really have to leave. There is no one in the house so I just can't leave it like that."
"In that case I'll take you back", said Jason.
Mr. Andrew and I exchanged greetings and we were on the way to my house in Jason's car.

We didn't exchange any words on the way.
It was actually me who was acting a bit awkward. The moment we reached outside my house he said ," I'm sorry."
"Sorry? Sorry for what?", I asked.
"For everything."
His eyes full of concern. I know he has feelings for me but I wanted him to confess them.
"You don't need to apologize for anything. It's ok", saying this I stepped out of the car.
He too came out and called my name,
"Katherine!"
I turned towards him. We were standing motionless staring deep into each others eye. And then he said,
"Good night!"
"Good night, Jason", saying this I went inside the house shut the door behind and leaned against it. I was feeling a bit disappointed. Not because the day ended like this but just because I was expecting way too much. Inspite of his feelings for me he wasn't ready to confess them.
Why was he hiding his feelings?
Although his actions do depict his feelings.
I don't understand what was holding him back.
I had so much to ask but on seeing him I'm always blank. Why do I make simple things so complicated?
I was so hungry. It was since morning that I ate a thing. So there was no other option except for cooking, the most annoying thing ever. I only knew how to cook pancakes properly, so I started cooking.
It was almost midnight when I sat on the table to have my dinner that the door bell rang.
Who could it be at this time? I wondered, but then thought that maybe it was Jason. So I without any second thought opened the door but found no one.
The street lights were flickering. From where I was standing I was able to see a shadow move between two piles of boxes. I raised an eyebrow and shouted "Hey, is someone there?", but i got no response. The lights flickered again, and i felt a cold chill on my spine. There was another shadow besides mine.
