Part I

Double double toil and trouble,

He hunched over the girl, teeth elongated and sharp, ready to pierce through the porcelain flesh on her neck. One look alone could turn her blood cold, his red eyes beating and too focused to be conscious, but her eyes were shut in a pant. His tongue flicked across her neck and his lips which made her hold her breath. She wasn't afraid, in fact she was ready for his penetration, to feel the bond between the two strengthen, she was so ready that she was even planning on slipping in a 'I've wanted this for so long,' at the end of it all.

But this was not what she planning.

His unconscious mind told him that this was wrong, this was so wrong, she couldn't have been older than sixteen; but you can only fight urges for so long. It had been two weeks since the last one, and to drive the urge of not pouncing onto one of his friends away sent pains through his entire body, wracking his shoulders and arms, down to his finger tips that now danced across the girls jaw, lifting up her chin.

He could see the tracks of her veins glowing under her pale skin, tracing them with his eyes until he saw the one, pulsing rapidly on her neck. He couldn't wait any longer. He sunk his teeth into her neck, drawing the pure thick liquid straight from her veins. She screamed and tried to push him away, but that only made him tighten the grip he had on her shirt, pulling their bodies flush as she tried to push away. He could taste it in her blood, the fear and the love towards him, even the disappointment that this isn't what she planned. He couldn't do what she wanted, that would be illegal.

He was too lost in the euphoric feeling of gaining back control that he didn't hear the bus door open, he didn't hear the footsteps coming down the bus, he couldn't hear the door to the bathroom he was in open, but he sure as hell heard the shriek of his bandmate as he looked to the scene before him: Josh was making out with a fan in the bathroom?

Josh turned to a shell shocked Tyler as his eyes faded back to a light mocha and fresh blood dripped from his mouth. Tyler's mouth hung agape as he looked back to the girl unconscious in their bathroom, blood dripping down her neck. Josh savored the last drops surrounding his mouth, licking up the mess. He wasn't proud of what he had done, in fact, his head made its way into his hands as he slouched down on the blood stained tile.

"J-Josh," Tyler began to shake. "W-What the fuck?" He backed away from the bathroom's entrance, and Josh stood, reaching his arms out to Tyler, who backed away immediately. "Y-You're a cannibal!" Tyler shouted and Josh sighed. He knew this was bound to happen.

But a cannibal? Really?

Josh scooped up the girl whose skin had paled even more from the loss of blood. Josh planned to suck her dry, to set him over for a solid few months, but obviously that wasn't going to happen today.
Josh was going to take the girl and set her outside and tell someone she fainted and leave it at that. The Council would clean up his mess. They always do.

When Josh had stepped out of the bus, he found Tyler leaning against the bus shaking like a leaf, probably brittle as one too.

"Tyler."

"You're a vampire, aren't you?" Josh blinked. "Like Mark, like Jenna." Josh sighed. He wasn't like them, they had stamina, self-control, Josh had depravity and dare he say lechery. He couldn't control his needs, no matter how pointless they were. Josh knew his inevitable fate, he'd eventually drop to a Level E, the point of insanity, the point of no return. They weren't alike, they wouldn't become criminally insane, they couldn't, they was of higher status. Josh was a special case.

"W-why didn't you tell me?" Tyler asked. Josh finally sat down the girl.

"Not exactly the easiest thing to tell someone," Josh stated simply, rubbing the back of his neck.

Tyler didn't ask any more questions.
