EP 10: Countdown

It's been a week since I told A'Zayla about my girlfriend back home. Since then, A'Zayla had been doing everything and anything, trying to keep herself away from me. I do think that I hurt a lot because she won't even look in my direction. The house is starting to pick up on it too. Caroline and I are on and off almost all the time and we were off when I left for the show so I was surprised when she texted me. I am going to have to talk to A'Zayla because I do like her a lot and I don't to end what we have.

I walked outside by the pool, where A'Zayla was at. She sat down eating ice cream, looking to be in deep thought. I sat down beside and she looked up, finally noticing my presence.

"What the hell do you want?" She mean mugged me.

"I want to talk about what you saw?"

"What I saw? You mean Caroline?" She questioned me.

"Yeah."

"Okay well how is she? Did you find out how she's been doing since you left?" She asked sarcastically.

"A'Zayla just listen to me I-

"No, Dejounte. You need to listen to me. If you would have mentioned this Caroline girl, I wouldn't have tried to mess with you because that ain't right. Just imagine when she watches this, how is it gonna make her feel. Her boyfriend was messing around with a whole other girl and not once did he ever mention her. You talked about Kelly for not telling Desiree about the show but you're even worse because you came here with a girlfriend but you fucked with my like you were single." She said.

"If you would just listen, I could let you know that she wasn't my fucking girlfriend at the time. We were in an on and off relationship for the past year and when I came on this show, I told her I wanted to be single. She agreed and that's when I came and met you. Did I plan on taking her back? Yeah but that was before I got to know you, A'Zayla."

"So why don't you go take her back now then?"

"Because I don't love her anymore. You're the one I'm falling for!" I confessed.

It became silent. A'Zayla didn't do anything but stare at me. I lowkey felt dumb for telling a girl how I felt before she told me but it's whatever at this point. Can't do anything about it.

A'Zayla reached over and kissed me gently. She broke the kiss and smiled.

"I think I'm falling for you too." She smiled widely.

"So what does this make us?" I inquired.

"I would say that that makes us a couple."

"I would say that too."

"But for real. Text that girl and let her know about me before I beat your ass." She threatened me.

"Gotcha!" I said as I stood up and jogged back to the house.

So your boy got the girl! And we are officially dating! I now have to worry about dealing with Caroline but that shouldn't be hard because we weren't too serious. Now that A'Zayla and I together, I think I can finally say that this has been the best experience of my life.

I think that everyone is starting to realize that we only have two more weeks left in this house and I think that it's getting to us. It's getting to me. Besides Desiree, I have gotten to real know the people here and it does suck that we are gonna be leaving real soon. So that's why we're trying to make the most of everyday now. Today, we are going to the beach and we're gonna have fun.

"Devin?" Amour called out to me.

"Yes?"

"You know what I have never ever done in my life? Even when I was a child?" She asked me.

"What could it be, Amour?"

"I have never built a sandcastle." She said as she tanned in the sun.

"Do you want to make one now?" I looked over at her.

"Yay! I thought you would have never asked!" She jumped up and pulled me to the closer to the water, grabbing the bucket as well.

We began to build the sandcastles and I looked around at everyone. Everyone seemed to be having a good time. Leoni and Dlo were throwing water balloons at each other, Dejounte and A'Zayla were eating ice cream, Malaya and Toni were playing In the water with Jordan, Kelly and Desiree were tanning and Kyrie was walking back to where we were with drinks for everyone.

"I feel like Beyoncé when she did drunk in love. Cause I been sipping watermelon." Malaya sang as she started dancing around in the water.

"Don't be singing that part. That's the nasty line!" Toni laughed at her, pushing her playfully.

"The whole song has nasty parts, Toni!" Malaya laughed along with her.

"I got your drinks!" Kyrie yelled as he finally made it back to our area.

"Took you long enough. You had a girl out there dancing like a stripper." Toni's eyes shot to Malaya.

"I was dancing like Beyoncé. But I can dance like a stripper too." Malaya spoke, twerking a bit.

Leoni and Dlo walked over to the rest of us, soaking wet. They quickly grabbed their drinks and went back to whatever they were over there doing after their water fight. Kelly and Desiree stayed over in the corner.

"What are y'all doing?" Malaya asked as she looked at us.

"I'm helping Amour build her first sand castle." I told her.

"Hey, Moury, you want to have another beach first?" Malaya asked her as she started to smirk.

"Yeah, sure. What is it?"

"It's your first time getting your sand castle destroyed!" Malaya yelled as she stepped into the sand castle.

"Malaya!" Amour screamed at the girl.

Amour began to chase Malaya around and once she realized that she was too slow, she picked up a water balloon and threw it at her back. It burst on her, quickly soaking the back of her bathing suit.

"It's on now!" Malaya yelled as she picked up the water balloon.

Malaya's water balloon hit Kyrie, making him throw a balloon back at her. Everyone soon joined in on the fun.

It's real nice being able to have fun and leave the drama alone for now. Hopefully it can stay this way.
