Emily Nooo!

That voice brought me back to life. I feel tired. I look around and meet everyone's shocked eyes staring at me. I can feel the fire, still blazing inside of me. I thought that only happened in movies. Did I just charge at someone so fragile? I looked at my hands, they were shaking. My necklace was still blazing. What is wrong with this thing? I never thought it would be so complicated. It should be a simple jewellery.
"What the hell happened here?" That was Principal Thomas. I knew by then, that later on, I would be busted. I never thought it would be so soon. I realized I was on my knees. I could feel the energy fading out of me. I felt tired and suffocated. I looked up at the principal. He was looking at me and the girl lying on the floor. She's not moving. She's dead.

My eyes are blurry and the walls are turning upside down. I feel hands on either side of my arm. I'm being lifted to the principal's office. I feel heavy, numb and tired. I let them, whoever they are, carry me. Every part of my body is throbbing. I want to scream, but there's no energy for that. I can feel my life, slowly fading. I can't afford to faint here. I have to fight  this.

                * * * * *

I'm seated on a chair in front of Principal Thomas' table. There is no one here, except me. I notice that even though it's not cold, I'm shivering in the seat. I hear the door open and close behind me. Principal gives me a glass of water. Unexpected but okay. I gulp down the whole glass. Ugh, sugar. I hate sugar.

"I want you tell me everything. Start from the beginning and be honest. Your life depends on it. Lying will get you nowh-" principal stopped when he heard the door open and close. I looked behind me and saw Greg looking at me. Without thinking about it, I stand up and went to hug him. That's when I started feeling some multiple emotions. Confusion, anger, regret and an overwhelming fear. He enveloped me in his arms the moment I reached him.

"I didn't mean to hurt her. I don't what happened. I was with Simon and he got hurt because of thi-" I knew I was blabbering nonstop. He cut me off before I could show him the glowing necklace. He just kept on saying, "Its okay Emily," and patting my hair.

Then I remembered, I didn't call him. How did he know where to find me? Maybe principal called.

"What are you doing here Greg, how did you know?" I asked him pulling away from his bear hug. I looked at him through my blurry eyes. I could see, he was hesitant. He looked at the man, who was now standing, behind the desk.

"You know I wait for you. I saw the smoke. I had to come and see if you are okay." He wasn't looking at me, but at principal Thomas.

I felt the burn in my neck. "Greg," he looked down and saw the necklace. I didn't have to tell him. He motioned me to sit down. He knelt in front of me.

"Sir, a minute please." He said to principal. "Emily, look at me. I need you to look at me. Now, Emily. Just calm down."

How long are you taking there, I need help here.

Almost there, old man. Just need to fix things down here. She did pretty bad to this girl.

Is she going to live?

She's awake. Just calm her down. She's suffocating me here.

Oh, right. On it.

Man, she's so strong.

"I'll explain when there is time. Right now, I need you to calm down. Just breathe.

I don't think I'm listening. After hearing that voice talking to Greg, I don't know how, I started breathing rapidly. In my mind, I think I'm on my last breathe. My whole body is burning. I'm shaking.

"What's happening? Talk you too. I want the truth."

Greg looked at him with a cold look that I never thought he could give someone. I saw fury in Greg's eyes. I cringed away from him. He stood up and went to the principal. He was about to grab his shirt when, "Now now, old man, let's not get hasty. We don't want this to end very very bad."

I turned towards the door, and I saw a guy in black leather clothes from head to toe. His voice sounds familiar. I looked at him closely, not caring if I should stop staring. He turned to look at me and smile.

Hi

My head spun. It's him. It's the guy with that voice. I started panicking. What if he was to kidnap me right now? The fire in my chest blazed more rapidly. My head was spinning. I turned to Greg.

"Greg, I'm not feeling oka..." I didn't get to finish because I went limp.
