[ Y/N ]

There was ringing in my ears.

Very loud ringing.

I was getting a headache from it.

There was shouting too.

People were shouting and screaming.

They were screaming my name.

Someone ran towards me.

I couldn't feel my legs.

I couldn't think straight.

I couldn't move.

Someone grabbed me.

I could feel their arms wrap around me.

They started calling my name.

Over and over.

I couldn't open my eyes either.

I tried but failed to speak.

I felt something warm on my face.

Was it my tears?

Or their's?

They were screaming my name now.

Trying to get me to wake up.

I heard sobbing.

I felt their face bury into my neck.

I felt safe with them.

A smile tugged on my lips.

I think I'm crying.

I can feel my chest rising and falling.

I'm alive?

Yes, I'm alive.

Of course I'm alive.

Why wouldn't I be . . .

Pain.

So much pain.

I could feel my legs now.

So much excruciating pain.

I wanted to scream.

And cry.

And make the pain stop.

I wanted to open my eyes.

But I couldn't.

I tried.

I failed.

I'm still breathing.

My mind is in chaos.

I can't speak.

I'm definitely crying now.

I'm shaking too.

Strange sounds are escaping my lips.

People are repeating my name again.

I'm picked up.

So much pain.

Someone is running.

I'm in their arms.

It's painful, but I don't cry out.

They were getting help.

More shouting.

It's my name again.

Y/N. Y/N. Y/N.

Over and over.
