The next night I simply couldn't fall asleep, so I went for a late night walk.

Earlier I told my parents and Alex what happened last night, they all kind of freak out cause I went without telling anyone, but they were happy that I had saved those girls.

I stayed in my room for the rest of that day-thinking.

Thinking about how I had been in that house for that long and didn't know there had been others with me, going through the same thing at that same time.

I walked down the road heading no where in particular, just to where ever my feet take me.

I was walking past the park when I saw a dark shadow of a person walking down the small hill in my direction.

My heart started racing and flashbacks of me being kidnapped raced through my head.

I wanted to walk faster, but my feet slowed down.

Even with the bad memories and my racing heart, I knew who ever it was wasn't a threat.

"Riley?" The dark shadow asked entering the ring of light from the street lamp.

"Austin?" I said looking at him.

"What are you doing?" He asked.

"I'm on a quest to find and rid of all evil lawn gnomes in the world," I said sarcastically. "But my unicorn seemed to have disappeared on me, and he's very important for this quest."

He started laughing.

"What do you have against lawn gnomes?" Austin asked after he finished laughing.

I grimaced.

"Like I said, they're evil," I replied.

He just shook his head and smiled.

"OK, so you can't sleep again?" He asked.

I nodded.

"So you decided to go on a walk...in the dark...by yourself?" He asked me.

"You have a problem with that?" I asked putting a hand on my hip.

"Oh, no, not at all," He said.

I smiled.

"So what are you doing?" I asked.

"Setting up a surprise for you," Austin said shyly, putting his hands in his pant pockets.

"Is that so?" I asked with a half smile.

He nodded and looked down at the ground, shuffling his feet.

"And can I no what this surprise is?" I asked.

He came closer and went behind me.

He then put a blindfold over my eyes.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"I said it was a surprise," He said simply.

He stood to my right, grabbed my right hand in his right hand, and put his left at the small of my back.

He then led me into the park.

Sorry of how short it is, but I can promise that I'm putting another chapter up today.
