I snapped out of my daydream state and suddenly stood up making Austin jump.
"Sorry," I said quietly. "I need you to drive me somewhere," I said
"Right now?" Austin asked standing up.
His tall frame of five foot ten stood next to mine.
"If what I'm thinking is right then yes, right now," I said.
He slowly shook his head.
"I don't feel comfortable doing this. Your parents would kill me if they see that your gone," He said.
"I'll make sure you don't get into trouble, and Austin, this is important," I said grabbing his hand in mind.
He froze for a moment at my touch and stared at me.
I begged with my eyes, praying he would say yes.
"I'm going no matter what your answer is," I said. "You can either come with me or leave me to go on my own, your choice."
His shoulders sagged in defeat.
"Fine, but we have to be back before your parents get up," He said.
I smiled.
"Of course! Thanks," I said.
Still holding his hand, I pulled him to the gate and went to the front of my house.
I pretty much pulled him all the way to his house-which was five minutes away.
He left me by his car to go and get his key's from his house.
He came back a few seconds later and opened the passenger side door for me.
I slipped in and he closed it.
I put my seatbelt on as he got in and turn the car on.
"Where exactly are we going?" He asked looking over at me.
"That's a good question," I said kind of quietly.
He sat back in his seat sort of dramatically.
"Oh stop being a drama queen!" I said with a half smile.
A smile pulled the corners of his lips.
"Just drive towards downtown," I said looking out the side window.
From the corner of my eye I could see that he was looking at me.
Finally he put the car in drive and drove out.
He started for downtown Miami.
Ten minutes later we were there.
There was nobody else on the road.
"Slow down," I told him.
He slowed to 25 mph and I started intently out into the night.
Suddenly quick bursts of flashbacks flashed through my head.
"Take a right, here," I said pointing out the window.
I closed my eyes.
He took a right and still went slow.
"At the second stop sign take a left," I said quietly.
I kept telling him where to go all the while my eyes were closed.
Finally I snapped my eyes open and looked at the surroundings.
We were in the country hills.
There was one house off to the right, the only one for miles.
