Chapter Three

I woke up and had dried tears on my face. I headed to bathroom and splashed water on my face. I didn't see the point because as soon as I laid back down, I started crying again. Then the door opened. I looked up and it was Kasey. I quickly wiped my tears away.

"Hey." I said.

"Hey." Kasey said. "What are you doing back so early?"

"I skipped my last 3 classes, you?" I asked.

"I finished everything, so I came back here to get some rest." Kasey said closing the door and walked over to his bed.

"That's great." I said.

"Hey, is everything ok?" Kasey asked.

"Yea, I'm fine." I lied.

"Ok that was a lie." Kasey said.

"Then why did you ask, if you knew I wasn't ok." I asked.

"To see if you would tell  me the truth regardless." Kasey said.

"Well then no I'm not ok." I admitted.

"Why? What happened?" Kasey asked.

"I saw me ex today. He tried to talk to me about what happened between us and I told him that I hate him and that I didn't want to be his friend have anything else to do with his sorry ass." I said.

"Well what he did to you must've been really bad for you to say something like that." Kasey said.

"You have no idea.'' I said.

I smiled and then there was a moment of silence for a couple of minutes. I sighed and then Kasey finally spoke up.

"Hey let's go somewhere." Kasey said.

"Where are we supposed to go?" I asked.

"Just change your clothes and meet me downstairs near the entrance of the college." Kasey said.

"Fine." I said.

Kasey smiled and raced out of the dorm. I waited a couple of seconds and did what Kasey told me to do. I changed my clothes into a crop top that says "Urban Rules Awesome," bleached out skinny jeans, a grey beanie, and black combat boots. I let my hair weight down. I looked at myself in the mirror, grabbed my phone, and headed downstairs to meet Kasey.

I spotted him and ran up to him. He looked alive and gave me a hug. I hugged him back even though, we only saw each other about 25 minutes ago. I looked behind him and saw that Kasey had a motorcycle. 

"You have a motorcycle?" I said.

"Yea and we are about to take a ride." Kasey said.

"Where?'' I questioned.

"You'll see." Kasey said climbing on.

I hesitated on whether or not that this was a good idea. But I needed to get away from college for a day. I climbed on behind Kasey and he gave me a helmet. Then we were off.

Chyna and I's conversation really gave me something to think about. I needed to talk to her, but I didn't exactly know where her dorm was. But I saw leaving and that was my chance to talk to her. I stopped in my tracks because she wasn't just running. She was running into another guy's arms. I stopped in my tracks and watched what was happening. I couldn't believe that I messed up and screwed myself over.

"It sucks doesn't it." A voice said.

"Yep it does." I admitted.

"It's hard to see the ones you love move on with someone else." the voice said.

"So you know him?" I asked. 

"He's my ex and she is..." the voice said.

"My ex." I said. 

"Well I'm Kimberly, but people call me Kim for short." Kimberly said.

"I'm Tremaine." I said.

Kasey and I were still riding around until we came to a stop. I looked and there in front of me was the forest. I had a confused look on my face. I wondered why we were in the forest and why Kasey had even taken me here.

''Why are we here Kasey?" I asked.

"Because you need to let off some steam." Kasey said.

"I coulda did this when we were at the dorm." I said.

"No, I mean some real steam. You know you could tell any secrets and do anything you can in here." Kasey said.

"Ok." I said.

Kasey offered his hand and I grabbed it. We entered the forest and we went very deep into the forest. We walked over branches and leaves. After walking so far, we reached this stream or river. I was amazed and astounded. I even let out a little "wow."

"Do you like it?" Kasey asked.

"No I love it. It's so beautiful and peaceful." I said.

"Not as beautiful as you." Kasey said.

I looked at Kasey and he smiled. He walked away and got closer to the stream. I smiled and followed behind him. When we got close enough to the stream, we sat on the rocks and looked at the stream and the animals around.

"You wanna know something?" I asked.

"Sure." Kasey said.

"I...uh meet you ex-girlfriend today." I said.

"Really?" Kasey questioned. "What did she say?"

"She threatened me to stay away from you and that she wanted you back." I said.

"Wow!" Kasey said.

"She's something." I said.

"You have no idea." Kasey said.

"So why did you break up?" I asked. 

"Because she thought that I wasn't supportive enough for her lifestyle." Kasey admitted.

"Her lifestyle?" I questioned.

"Her parents are rich, in fact they own USC. So I broke up with her because I didn't like the person she became." Kasey said.

"You mean controlling and bitchy." I said.

"Yea. Any girl would be lucky to have you and you shouldn't let anyone tell you different." I said.

"Thanks." Kasey said.

"Your welcome." I said.

I laughed and looked out into the forest. I turned back to Kasey and he was staring at me. Something was really wrong, and his staring made it all complicated.

"What?" I asked.

"Nothing, it's something that I've been wanting to do ever since I met you." Kasey said.

"And what's that?" I asked.

"I don't want to make you feel some way about me." Kasey said.

"But I won't." I said. 

"Promise?" Kasey said.

"Promise." I said smiling.

Without hesitation, Kasey came and kissed me. I knew that he wanted to do that ever since he met me. To be honest, so did I and it just happened. I kissed back and I climbed on top of him and everything turned into a makeout session.

Kasey and I spend the entire day in the forest together. When we arrived back at the dorm, I never felt so happy like I am right now. I took off my shoes and my jacket and Kasey and I fell asleep in each other's arms.
