"I haven't been here in ages and everything still looks just like it did when I left" grandpa told me

We got to the door as someone opened it

"Jake, Abraham so glad you're back why don't you come on in" Miss peregrine said with a smile as we followed her in

I couldn't believe how much they were able to save from the bomb attack if I wasn't there to witnessed it I wouldn't have known that the house was ever hit

"Abraham"

I looked up to see Emma standing at the end of the hallway with a big smile and tears rolling down her cheeks

"Yes it me I'm back"

Emma ran and jumped up into Abraham arms I left giving them a moment to themselves so I walked out into the backyard where the others would normally hang out

"Jake your back" Claire giggled

Horace shake my hand "looks like you been taking my fashion advice" then Horace looked at Enoch "hey Enoch look jake back isn't that wonderful"

Enoch just rolled his eyes "so I heard Abraham back"

"Ya he's inside with Emma if you want to go see him"

"No I'm good. It's already bad enough we have one of you we don't need both plus the hollow are gone so we don't need you guys here anymore"

"Don't listen to Enoch he's just jealous" Bronwyn told me

"I'm not Jealous why would I ever be jealous of someone like him we killed the hollow so he doesn't have much of power here doses he. He's useless now not like us anymore"

He's right I am useless what can i do now my power only works when there's hollow around but we killed them all I wish I never came here I can see I'm not needed anymore maybe I should go back home

"Where are you going" Fiona asked

"Home"

"You are home"

"No you can't go home now you just got here and you didn't get to meet Rosie" olive told me

"Who Rosie" I asked her

"A new child in the home we all told her about you she would love to meet you"

"Fine I will stay of a little bit but after I meet Rosie I'm leaving so where it she"

"Not here she usually gone at this time but she will be back soon Miss peregrine always give her a exact time to leave and come back" Olive replied

"Ok, I'll just go for a walk for a while to wait for her to come back"

"Do you want any of us to go with you"

"Jake your so helpless without your power" Enoch laughed

I left taking a walk down to the lake
