Jøsh's Perspective
I awoke from a scream. Tyler's scream. He started sobbing and I immediately got up to grab him. He was covered in cold sweat as I took him in my arms. He was shivering and his breaths were either cut or he would choke on them. But he would still cry. I whispered, "Tyler, it's a dream. You're safe with me."

Tyler's Perspective
No. Nothing is never Ok. It's not a dream. Nothing is anymore. Just shadows beckoning me and grabbing me by the neck, clawing their dirty nails on it.
I let Josh hold me. "Block my mind." Is what I want to say. But he can't, no one can.
We stayed in the same position as the sun showed it's illuminating glow.
Josh stroked my hair. "T-Tyler, I'll keep you safe. No matter what."
I believe him. In a way.

Jøsh's Perspective
We stayed like this for an hour more after the sun had risen. It was a Saturday, and I guess I could not do anything but stay with Tyler. I heard him snore on my lap. Oh, good. He found peace in his mind. I stared at him. He was a guy. A guy who is just broken. A guy who needs someone that can give him warmth and clarity.
I want to do all that.
I slowly leaned in to his head and planted a kiss on it. Just for a second.

He didn't wake up. I slowly get up and head to take a shower.

Tyler's Perspective
I woke up to the smell of humidity and soap. The good kind. I stood out of Josh's bed. He's taking... A shower. My face and neck felt sticky. I need a shower too. It's em-
Josh opened the door and walked in front of me with a towel on his face and he was already dressed. I looked at him, mesmerized. "Oh! You're awake. Do you need anything?"
"I need a shower," I said as I stood up and walked in the bathroom, "Thank you." I took a quick shower, since I've never felt comfortable with other people's places" Tyler! You're clothes, well my clothes. You can borrow some today. I'll just place them..............um, here in the bed. I'll go outside." I quickly ran out of the bathroom and to the bed to change.

Jøsh's Perspective
I see Tyler walk to me. As I sat in the counter eating cereal. I don't want to ask him what he was dreaming. One day. "Hey, Ty. Do you want to eat?"
He spoke, "No, I get stomachaches. I'm not used to eating early." Beep. Beep. Beep. It was Tyler's phone.

Tyler's perspective
Zack! I picked my phone and answered.
"H- Hello, Zack. What's up"
"I don't want to go home... I want to stay for a bit longer. We can go until... 8 at night. Please!"
I thought about it. Me with Josh. Alone. No. But then again, I don't want to be with my dad.
"Ok, but next time I decide. Bye."
I turn to Josh as he was washing his bowl. What should I say?
"Josh. Umm... Are you free today? I mean I can give you a tour in this crummy place. Right?" He smiled and agreed. He went running to his room to retrieve a pair of jackets. He gave me mine. And we walked out.
