Feeling tiny claws dig into my skin, I jolt awake. I instantly start looking for the origin of the claws. Thinking it was a spider or insect of some sort, I scream and flutter around in my bed.

I felt the feet scurry from my shoulder to my breast then down my stomach. "Oh my god!" I yell, now hitting myself in all these places in hopes of killing the culprit. Panic ran throughout me as I crept out of bed. I absolutely hated critters and spiders. They were sneaky and felt revolting on my skin. Just thinking about it made me have goosebumps. However, I wasn't only thinking about it, I was actually feeling this creepy sensation.

I stopped squirming for a moment to catch my breath after the creature halted. After a moment, I could feel the creature slowly inching down my leg. I looked down and laughed.

"What? What is it? Wheres the thief?" my mom slid through the door, swinging an umbrella in her hand.

Bending down, I grab Peanut Butter and gently pat him. Peanut Butter was my sisters pet hamster. And the only reason she named him that was because when we bought the hamster, he was licking peanut butter. Its a Golden Hamster that had a niche for sneaking up on people and licking things. I should have known, this wasn't the first time.

Looking up at my mother, I smile. "Good morning,"

She dropped the umbrella to her side and sighed, "Peanut Butter again?"

"Yup," I walked over to her and put the hamster in her hand.

"Crystal has some explaining to do...again. But, at least it wasn't me this time," looking at me, she smirked.

Last time, my mom was the victim. Peanut Butter got into her shower somehow and scared my mother half to death. It ended badly for my sister. My mom threatened to fry the poor hamster and eat it in front of her. Which sounds really disgusting, but at the time I could have sworn my mom was being dead serious. She soon regretted what she had said when Crystal ran away crying hysterically and screaming, "I hate you!" continuously. I laughed throughout the situation until my mom gave me the death look, warning and threatening me to be quiet.

I plastered a fake smile on my face and walked into my bathroom to get ready for school. After wiping the crust out of my eyes, a rush of adrenaline hits me hard in the gut.

Not only did I have a test for AP Biology on cellular respiration today but I also had to car pool with John and today was Dylan's birthday.

"Damn,"

I hadn't got Dylan anything because I completely forgot and I didn't study for my test for the same reason. Someone new comes into your life and you just forget everything.

Yesterday, I found out I would be carpooling with John from now on since we were going to the same school. I was both glad and mortified. Glad because I wouldn't have to ride the bus and mortified because I would have to sit in awkward silence with John each morning.

Margret left on a good note. She's down to earth and a little witty. And lets not get started on those cookies she brought. Deliciouso! They were soft, warm and melted in my mouth when I chewed; not crunchy and hard to bite.

Johns dad, on the other hand, had been on a business trip and his job was the reason for the move. Not much was said about him, though. He would be coming around next week but we wouldn't see him often. I noticed when she was talking about her husband, there was uncertainty in her facial features and it seemed as if she wanted to seize the conversation about him instantly.
