The rain was pouring down hard, you reached out for my hand, you then realised that I was still away so far, you then ran outside to the beach and the sand, you shouted my name, hoping that you'd turn round and see me there standing in the rain.
Four years have gone, you stay here all alone, wishing that I was still with you, and yet you're alone, you're the fool, I've found myself a new home, a place where I feel wanted, and not where I felt hated, you shouldn't of betrayed me, maybe then you'd still be with me.
You always said you regretted that one night, when I was away for work, you said you was afraid of being all alone, that you needed a man by your side, and yet probably didn't realise I'd end up feeling hurt, and left to feel the bitter cold.
And now I'm happier, and feeling much better, and now I'm not alone, in my wonderful new home, I feel as if I finally found the one, who can make me feel the sun, I'm happy now, sorry that you're now alone.
