Emily sits by the beach, every morning, without missing a beat, but on this particular morning, something strange occurred, and Emily was no more.
She was meant to meet a friend, who said he could keep her on the mend, you see, Emily was one for getting into trouble, and always was the last one to leave a party, and always got things in a muddle, her friend was concerned, for her health and wellbeing, maybe he should've learned, that this day would be seen.
She stopped at the local train station, staring straight-through the crowd, tapping her feet, to the beat, coming from her music, that she had blaring out loud, from the headphones, of her mobile phone, suddenly she screamed, she looked down at her feet, counted 1-2-3, and let out another scream.
Her nightmare was played like a vision, a nightmare that was on a mission, to haunt Emily once more, she knew the score, she knew what she once did, to that woman's little kid, smash! And the kid was gone, crash! And so Emily's life was forever withdrawn, since that tragic day, things were never again the same.
Emily then decided to run, and run, and run, until' she could no longer run. This wasn't fun, she thought, so she pulled out a gun.. And.. Emily .. Was no more, the guilt of a child's death was too much for Emily, she knew she didn't mean it, but.. In reality, she could've prevented it.
She didn't have to leave the party, and decide to drive back home, she was also in such a hurry, she should've known, that something may happen, and now thanks to a tragic accident, Emily's life is a mess, and the woman's kid's life is no more, what is wrong with Emily's head, she didn't have to hit top-speed, but instead, she just wanted another drink, and the comfort of her own bed, once more, she should've just stopped to think.
