"Do you think he's gone? I can't feel him anymore. Do you think we won?" One of the two troublemakers asked.
"What do you mean won? What did you make me do?" Thomas asked out in the real world.
"I hope he's gone. He's been rude to me one time too many for my liking." the other voice chuckled darkly.
"Seriously! What's going on in there?" Thomas shouted angrily. Two people ran into the room, both grossly out of breath.
"Who knew that we were this out of shape?" Dad asked, rather rhetorically. Logic gulped in air before he looked up to see the two figures frozen in front of a confused Thomas.
"You two! Why would you two do this? I mean, I might get Mischief, but Determination! Why?" Logic questioned quickly.
"Doesn't matter anymore. I can't feel Anxiety anymore. He should be good and dead." Logic went into a rage, grabbing hold of Mischief by the collar and shaking him blindly.
"How can we reverse this?" Logic screamed down at Mischief.
"You can't." Mischief smirked.
"What do you mean?" Dad asked, turning to Determination. Determination faltered before he answered.
"He told Thomas to swallow a pill that's supposed to get rid of Anxiety. Nothing could have stopped it's effects. Unless you get him to throw it up, but even that might not be enough to make him come back fully."
"We have to try." Logic started. Thomas was already sat in front of the toilet in his bathroom, having heard his entire inner monologue. He only prayed it would help. He threw up without much effort, already queasy about losing such a large part of him. Suddenly the door to the room was kicked down. In walked a tearful Prince. His hand was still entwined with Anxiety's limp one. There was an evident anger in his eyes.
"He's gone." He made eye contact with Mischief who shrunk under his gaze. "You killed him. You're a monster."
"I thought you'd be happy. You hated him." Mischief whispered into the tense room.
"I've never hated him. I love him too much to hate him." Prince whispered. His breathing growing ugly, interrupted by mucus and tears.
"I'm sorry." Determination spoke softly, not that anyone blamed him in the first place. Prince sat in silence. Everyone sat in silence for a long time. Even Thomas was silent, hoping for something new to arise that looked good for his phsycie.
"All I need is a little love in my life
All I need is a little love in the dark
A little but I'm hoping it might kick start
Me and my broken heart." Prince cried into Anxiety, wishing for a change. Praying for an answer. Morality was the next one to start, dad's cute little voice squeaking through the notes.
"I need a little loving tonight
Hold me so I'm not falling apart
A little but I'm hoping it might kick start
Me and my broken heart
Yeah..." Morality stopped, too choked up in tears to continue. It was odd when Logic continued from where Morality had stopped. He was joined after his first line by Thomas.
"Shotgun, aimed at my heart, you got one
Tear me apart in this song
