"Sus. Yun lang ba?" Bea answered. She placed her hand on Thirdy's shoulder as she agreed on what Thirdy had said.

After all, he just wanted to be close her. It wasn't that big but it was the first step. They went to the same high school but Thirdy went to the States. After years, he went back to the Philippines. He coincidentally went to Ateneo, same school as Bea's. A part of him didn't really consider it as coincidence, gusto niya si Bea noon pa. Naniniwala siyang tadhana ang naglapit sakanila.

Ngayon may dahilan na siya para mapalapit dito. He and Bea are friends but not that close, Bea also have her own life. He just asked Bea to help him since nag-aadjust pa lang siya, hopefully she said yes.

"Talaga? Oh god, thank you."

"No problem, buddy. Basta ikaw." Bea patted Thirdy's shoulder. He blushed as he looked fondly at her.

"So, punta nalang ako sa bahay niyo mamaya?" Bea nodded and was about to speak something but someone's voice cuts her off. The voice she had and will always be love.

"Beatriz," Maddie called, grinning widely at Bea although she wasn't very please to see her talking to a guy who she didn't even know. She can't help the jealousy though she needed to keep the cool. Ayaw niyang maging possesive, though she kind of was.

Lumingon si Bea kung saan nanggaling ang boses at tama nga siya, mas lumapad ang kanyang mga ngiti. Maddie went to her province to attend the birthday of her little sister, and she came back earlier than planned.

"Mads? God, you're here!"

"Ay hindi, sa Davao pa po ako,"  Maddie joked making Bea roll her eyes at her before running and making herself lunged on Maddie. It was like they haven't seen each other for years, eh ang totoo niyan eh limang araw palang simula nung umalis si Maddie.

Thirdy watched the interaction. 'She must be Bea's bestfriend?' he thought. Grabe naman kasi yung reaksyon nila eh, sakanya nga yakap na parang dalawang segundo lang pagkatapos nilang hindi magkita ng 2 taon. Pero ang yakap naman ni Bea sa 'Mads' na ito, as if she would vanish in thin air if she would ever let go.

Niyakap rin pabalik ni Mads si Bea and smiled as Bea connected their lips. Thirdy's eyes got widened, his jaw dropped. Bea's gay? Kung sabagay---sa reaksyon ba naman nito nung dumating yung Mads.

"I missed you so much, Madeleine. You have no idea," Bea muttered when they pulled away. Madeleine? 'Beautiful name for a gorgeous lady.'

"Na-miss rin kita, Bea." 'Ang corny!' Angal ni Thirdy.

Bea took Maddie's hand, and was about to leave when someone was caught by her peripheral vision. Thirdy. Bea mentally faced palm. Naman Bea ba't mo naman nakalimutan si Thirdy? Haynaku, result of having Maddie Madayag as your girlfriend. (lmfao here)

"Oh sorry, I forgot," Bea says, umiling siya at dinala si Maddie kay Thirdy na parang sinaksak sa puso nang marinig niya ang mga katagang iyon. Kahit naman alam niya na, pagkatapos ba naman masaksihan ang paghaharutan ng dalawa, ay naniniwala parin siya na may pag-asa pa siya. But his heart shuttered in pieces when Bea introduced the girl, "Thirdy, si Maddie nga pala...girlfriend ko. And Mads, this is Thirdy, an old friend from my high school."

Maddie just smiled politely at him. Bumaba ang tingin niya sa kamay Thirdy. Kahit naman selos na selos siya dito, hugging him would still be her 'handshake'. He was still Bea's friend, at ang kaibigan ni Bea ay kaibigan niya rin. And it's not like he had made a move on her.

"Oh come here, I don't do handshakes." Bea smiled as her girl gave Thirdy a hug. She's so lucky to have Maddie in her life. She would never replace her Madeleine with anybody else, at sana ganun rin si Maddie sakanya. They had been dating for almost 4 years and God knows how much she loves Maddie.
