Claude's POV:
I don't know how many hours or days I have been unconscious for, but when I woke up, I noticed that I was somewhere that wasn't home. It was cold, it was dark and I had the worse migraine ever.
"Claude! Thank goodness you're okay!" I heard someone say; I looked to my right to see Sebastian who had bruises and cuts all over his face and neck.
"Sebastian," I said quietly, I put my arms around him and hugged him tightly; He started crying.
"Claude, why did this have to happen to us?! Why do we deserve this?! They took Miracle, Claude! They took our baby!"
I didn't know what to say, what did we even do to become criminals? I don't understand. Is it because we're demons and people think differently of us. From what I learned, don't judge a book by it's cover, don't judge somebody that's different because we're all the same one way or another. Why did me and Sebastian deserve this? We're locked up in a jail cell again and our daughter has been taken away from us.
I held Sebastian close as he buried his face in my chest sobbing.
I tilted his head up an cupped his cheek; "Listen Sebastian, we're going to get out of here one way or another, we're going to get out alive. I promise you that, but right now I need you to be strong, okay? Be that strong demon I know you are."
He looked me and nodded, with tears falling heavily from his eyes.
I kissed his lips and continued to hold him close.
I'm not going to let the ones that I love the most die.
