Love is not something you go out and look for, love finds you and ready or not it'll be the best thing that has ever happened to you.

Javier's POV

George was able to gather much information on the famous chauffeur, Samuel Anderson. Apparently, he is an only child, his father is dead, and his mother is currently recovering from cancer. He is an undergraduate and was doing menial jobs until he was able to secure employment in the Sullivan home after their old driver started having problems with his eyes.

I couldn't believe the great Kristen Sullivan, a graduate of businesses admin, model and face of all good magazine, heiress of a large cooperation could fall in love and run away with such a lowlife, nobody, a worthless commoner who couldn't offer her anything.

She is not as wise as the whole world thinks.

Oh well,  I am going to pop her senses right back in. Hell, she is not even worthy of me, but I have to do this for my father.

It was a bright and shiny Saturday morning; I don't know why but I felt particularly jolly this morning, which shouldn't be the case given that I am going to visit the gutter Samuel lives in. Well,  whoever said that commoner should mess with my mood, he isn't worth being unhappy over.

I haven't even gone to see the Sullivans; I didn't think I needed to, they broke my trust and disappointed me, they couldn't keep their daughter on a leash. I would pay them a visit, but that's when I feel like.

Right now, however, it was as if something was calling me to see this Samuel guy, I was damn curious, I wanted to know the mighty chauffeur who stole MY fiancée.

The further we drove in the more disgusted my eyes became.

How could people live here?

The streets were filled with beggar like children; the homes were made of low quality and probably infected wood, the little ones made of bricks or cement looked as if with a small push it would all collapse, they were even burning trash. At least the streets were clean, I even saw a Volkswagen car already old and dying, an old man was trying to start it on, and it was bringing forth a surprising amount of unhealthy infected smoke.

These people should be arrested; they are the ones killing our ozone layer.

Then we finally stopped in a large building filled with little homes. I came out of the car, and immediately the stench of poverty invaded my nostrils. George wanted to accompany me in but I told him to wait behind, I needed to do this alone, I was enough intimidation for him.

I buttoned my suit and walked in. I didn't even know which little apartment was his. While I was letting my eyes wonder and search the environment, I felt something bump into me, I looked and saw the girl who bumped into me about to fall as she lost her balance.

Quickly just like an involuntary action, my left hand gripped her shoulder as my right went round her waist. After a second or two when she realized I was holding onto her, she opened her eyes and lifted her head to see me. Her savior.
