Cat's pov: I finally arrive back at headquarters and crow is nowhere to be found. "Cat, the queen has summoned you and crow. She wants to hear about the mission." I turn and focus my attention to the owner of that voice.

"Ah panther thanks for the message. Unfortunately crow had some business to attend to, so I will see her on my own today," I inform to him. "Well follow me right this way," he requests. As I follow panther, I pray that the queen will be ok with crow not attending. After all if she were to find out that crow was slacking off, we'd have some serious trouble.

Cat's pov: We arrive at the queen's chamber and panther knocks on the door to inform the queen that I have arrived. "Your majesty, cat has returned from her journey and has come to deliver news," he says to the queen. "Ah very good please send the darling in," the queen requests. "The queen will see you now," panther informs me. "Thank you," I reply to him as he bows and walks away.
I walk into the queen's room and get down on one knee. "Your majesty, I have returned from the mission you have sent me on," I declare to her. "Thank you cat, please raise your head and tell me about the mission," she orders.

I raise my head and look at the queen while she looks into a mirror that seems to be broken. "So I heard that even though the mission was a success, you weren't the one who landed the kill. Is this true?" She questions me. "Yes it is your majesty," I clarify to her. "I have to say I'm disappointed to hear that," she says. "I apologise your majesty, it won't happen again," I say to her sincerely. "Yes let's hope not," she says sternly. "By the way, where is crow?" She asks curiously. "He told me that he had other business to attend to so I came on my own your majesty," I clarify to her. "Oh such a shame. I miss seeing his handsome face," she says lustfully. I grit my teeth but there was not much I could do except brush it off.
"Also cat I'm afraid that you and crow will have to be punished for failing to kill the target," she declares. I should of seen this coming. Suddenly crow's words run through my mind again *I'd rather be a softie than make people suffer*. "Your majesty if I may request, I was the one who failed to kill the target. So I will take the punishment for both of us if you would allow me to," I plead to her. She thinks for a few seconds then decides to allow me to take the punishment for both of us. "Very well I will allow you to take the blame however taking in this punishment by yourself won't be easy," she informs me. "I understand and thank you," I reply to her. Suddenly I am taken out of the room by 2 guards and they drag me to the dungeon under the castle. I've never had or seen punishment bestowed upon people before. This should be interesting. Guess I'm on my own.
