Chapter 4: Unforgivable

Crow's pov:
"Urh same old boring tree with the same old boring view..." I sighed again for the one millionth time. I should probably head back now. I mean Cat has probably finished dealing with the queen by now. I wonder what happened. She probably got a massive reward or something. I didn't wanna go since I didn't do anything anyway and the queen keeps looking at me weirdly and touching my face. Guess I should head back to our base for now.

Cat's pov:
"AAAAAHHHHH" I cry out as they burn a mark on my skin. I'm not too sure what it is but I guess it's some sort of mark that signals I'm a failure. "AAAAAHHHHH" I scream as they give me another one for Crow. Both burn marks now burn on my back probably going to leave scars of shame. "Now now we aren't done yet so don't you pass out on us yet or we will have to get Crow to finish the rest of the punishment for you~" the queen says as she sits in a seat watching with amusement. "Haha don't worry I still have a lot of fight left in me" I say while trying to conceal as much pain as I can. "Good~ then shall we continue? So each person usually gets 25 whip lashes to the back but in your case it will be 50, sure you can handle it~?" She asks with curiosity. "Sure thing" I say with no problem. This is going to be a long and painful punishment...

Crow's pov:
It's been 20 minutes since I got back and Cat still isn't here. Where the hell is she? Maybe she went out to eat? Buy clothes? Dammit! I'm starting to worry now... NO REMEMBER YOUR MAD AT HER! SHE MADE SOMEONE SUFFER IN DEATH! Yeah that's right! She did wrong so there's no reason to be worried! But still...I can't help but worry... "I know! She's probably out spending the reward money she got from the queen the little hog!" I accidentally yell out loud. "Crow so here you are" a voice says. I turn around and see Panther standing behind me. "What's up Panther?" I ask. "That should be my question, what other business did you have that was so important to miss the meeting with the queen?" He questions. "Business?" I ask confused. "Yes Cat said that you had important business to attend to so you couldn't make it to the meeting" he explains. "Ah yeah that's right business... It's private though" Crow says timidly since it was a lie. "Oh that reminds me! Where's Cat? She's been gone for ages" I explain. "You didn't know? You both received punishment for letting someone else kill the target but Cat decided to take the punishment all on her own" Panther states. "What?!" I yell. "Yeah only God knows what kind of pain she's in at the moment..." Panther says with sorrow. "WHERE IS SHE?!" Crow yells with anger. "She's in the dungeon but you can't go ther- stop!" Panther yells as he grabs crow. "LET ME GO! I HAVE TO SAVE HER! SHE COULD BE DEAD!" Crow yells with worry. "I know your worried but you shouldn't make her efforts for nothing!" Panther stated. "I SAID LET ME G-" "Crow your too loud" , Crow and Panther suddenly look in the direction of the voice and freeze.

Cat's pov:
I can hear Crow yelling so I decided to call out and get him to stop. "Crow your too loud" I say in exhaustion. Suddenly Crow and Panther both freeze up as soon as they see me. Hahaha I guess I must look like I'm in pretty bad shape. Well seeing whip lashes, scratches, torn clothes and all this blood would make anyone freeze up. "Cat..." I hear Crow say in a really upset voice, almost like he wanted to cry. I felt happy. I thought he hated me so I'm glad to know that he still cares. "Hey it's ok I'm fine, just a few scratches" I say with a little pain. Suddenly my vision goes dark and I start to feel myself fall. "Cat!" Is the last thing I hear before I pass out.

Crow's pov:
"Cat!" I yell out as she passes out. I managed to catch her before she hits the ground. I bring her into the room and I start to treat her wounds. I take a look at her back and choke on my own guilt. "This...this is unforgivable...I will never forgive the queen!" Crow says in anger. "And...I'll never forgive myself..."
