A/N sup lol sorry for the late update I don't know if I made a broken promise the last chapter but I hope this one makes up for it!
After I ate all my pancakes and Gideon washed the plates. I walked with Jax to the bigger room in the house. They called it a living room and I seen a wood chair, with a fluffy thing on it. I was a little confused so I asked Jax what it was and he told me that it was a pillow. I was still a little confused so I walked up to it and poked it. It was soft and squishy, but not like the wet kind of squishy but like a soft almost fluffy kind of squishy. I basically tackled the pillow and squealed. "Whats the little squirrel happy about now?" Gideon asked walking into the living room and looking at Jax. "I told her about the pillow." Jax said crossing his arms and Gideon chuckled saying "Oh"
They were both looking at me when I was hugging the pillow to death and I wondered what was wrong. "What?" I asked and they both just chuckled. "Nothin'" They both said together and I looked at them suspiciously. "Hey (y/n) when you're done hugging it we got to go, you can't find your dad when you're stuck here hugging a pillow now can you?" Jax asked me and smirked when I shot up from the chair and started pulling on his shirt to go outside. "Hey Gideon?" "Yeah (y/n)?" "Are you going to join us?" I asked and I seen Jax look at him and Gideon smiled wide and said "Sure why not, it'll be fun!" He said and I bounced up and down in joy.
"Let's go let's go!" I said and tried to pull them both out the door. They both laughed and Jax picked me up, we walked out of Gideon's house and he closed the door. "Hey where should we look first?" Gideon asked and Jax started to think. "We should go to the ships first since that is the closest transport, I'm sure her father has gone far, probably not intentionally since he was basically kicked out of his home." "So than we should go on the closest ship and than get off at the next stop?" Gideon finished. "Yeah we should do that, how does that sound (y/n)?" Jax asked me, "It's fine but I have one question." I said and they started to walk back down the path to the town. "Whats the question?" Gideon asked me, "What is a ship?"
"A ship is a big narrow bowl that has napkins and sticks that make it move in the wind." Jax said, but I was still a little confused, "But aren't napkins and sticks small? How are we going to be able to fit in a ship?" I asked and Gideon laughed, "Jax you did not explain that very well. Here I'll tell you what a ship is, a ship is like a giant narrow bowl that floats in the sea, but with really HUGE blankets and really LONG poles that hold them, so then when the blankets are blown by the wind, the ship moves." Said Gideon making hand movements of waves. I made an "O" with my lips and I giggled. "That must be a big bowl" I giggled again and Jax laughed with Gideon.
We walked for a while, but we got back to the town and I didn't see any dragon slayers anywhere, so we were safe. Jax and Gideon started walking to a building that had a fence outside of it and it had a white tin roof, I still couldn't read the sign so I left that alone. We walked inside and I seen a lot of people with boxes and and papers. "This is where we get our tickets so we could ride the ship." Gideon said and put his hands on his hips and looked at me with a smile. I smiled back and I looked at Jax with the same smile. He also smiled, but he put me down, "You're starting to get a little heavy, it's probably all those pancakes you ate." He said and chuckled when I protested.
"Okay children lets go." Now it was Gideon's turn to laugh when Jax protested with him, "I am not a child." Jax said and puffed his cheeks. He than chuckled and held out his hand. I quickly grabbed it and we started to walk to the table with the glass on it. The glass had a small hole in the middle and there was a person on the other side, the table was big and it looked like it connected to the end of the two walls next to it. There was a bell on our side of the table and Gideon hit it making a 'DING' sound, the other person looked up and started to talk to Gideon. "Three tickets to the Yanabay please." Gideon said and waited patiently for the other person to give us three tickets. The other person got out three little golden tickets and they grabbed a tool to make three small holes in them. They then gave Gideon them and he happily grabbed them and he gave me one while we walked away.
"Now don't lose that okay? You need that so that you can get on the ship." Jax said looking down at me and I nodded my head clutching on to the ticket tightly. We walked over to some chairs, but these ones didn't have the pillows, Jax and Gideon sat on them but I didn't move. I didn't want to sit in these chairs they didn't have the pillows! I puffed my cheeks out and stomped my foot. "Oh? Is someone getting fussy? What's wrong (y/n)?" Jax said and kneeled down to me I crossed my arms and made my best mad face, which made the boy's snicker. "These chair's don't have the pillows and I want the pillow!" I said and I looked down, "Hey how about this, you can sit on my lap until we got to go it's kind of like a pillow, how about it?" Jax asked me and I thought for a while. I have never sat on a boy's lap before and I don't know if Mridul would like it.
I kept hesitating but I made my choice. "Okay, but only as long as it is soft!" I said and chuckled and picked me up, he then turned me around and sat me down on his lap. It was almost like a pillow, if pillows were made of flesh, but I did stop fussing and I heard the boys sigh. I giggled and looked around. There wasn't much to see so I got bored fast. "Jax when will the ship be here?" I asked him and he just shrugged his shoulders. "I honestly don't know, they usually take a while to get here." He said and I slumped my shoulders. I sighed and fell backward landing on Jax's chest and I heard him make a small grunt sound. "Sorry" I said and he just chuckled and started to pet my hair. "It's ok (y/n)." He said, I then heard a really loud bell ring and someone in a white outfit came out yelling for people to get on the Yanabay.
"That's us lets go." Gideon said and we all got up and Jax picked me up and put me on his side. "It gets pretty crowded I don't want to lose you." He said and I nodded. We walked outside with a whole lot of other people and I heard shouting and People scattering about. I looked up and I seen a really BIG ship. They were right it was like a really big narrow bowl. I then got excited and I kept pointing things out showing Jax something that he probably already knows, even though I don't. There was woman with pretty dresses getting on the ship from a bridge and the ship was really loud! There was kids running around that looked like my age and they were playing with a ball. I was so focused on everyone else that I didn't notice that we were getting on the ship.
"Ready to go find your dad!?" Gideon said excitingly and I nodded my head very fast.
"LET'S GO"

P.S THERE IS NO CARS IN THIS STORY AND THEY DID NOT BOARD THE TITANIC, IF THEY DID I WOULD HAVE SAID IT, SO DON'T WORRY THEY AIN'T DYING ON A SHIP!!!!!!!!!
