VIOLIN

You played me beautifully
You showed me a vibrant world...
Your world
What I didn't know was that a dark side existed to it
You distanced yourself
Leaving me
Drowning me in the unknown
For, I blindly trusted you
You blindly played me
To you I was just another toy
Another laugh
Another no one
Then I saw your true colours
You broke my strings
You blamed me for your wrongs
I couldn't decipher my doings at this point
I took all the blame
I apologized for your faults
I cried myself to sleep thinking that I was not worthy of your love
You stopped at the last string
You played me one last time
You looked lovingly at my tear-stained face
You wiped my tears
You faked love a last time
You gave me hope...
Then you broke me...

I am the only one to be blamed for my state
For, you told that you loved playing beautiful violins
And I was your violin...
