Always do what you
Are afraid to do

Hour eighteen
Wishing and Hoping are the same thing. To wish or hope for something, doesn't always mean it will happen. That's why I never do it.
People believe wishing wells actually work, and that when you wish upon a shooting star, it actually happens. But it doesn't. If that wish or hope ever comes true, it's just a coincidence.
Ever since my life has been going down hill, I have stopped wishing and hoping for things, because the truth is, things just aren't going to happen. No matter how hard you believe or even try sometimes, nothing works.
That's why I just take thing that come. I believe there is no such thing as 'good luck' and 'bad luck', you're just you.
It's almost midnight and the sky is now pitch black, as large layers of cloud cover up the twinkling stars. The night time air is cold, causing the hairs on my arms to stand up, compared to the mid-day heat.
A small amount of sound fills my ears as we walk down the now abandoned streets, hand in hand, quietly thinking to ourselves.
A cat, as black as the current sky, walks out from the bushes besides us and stops in front of us. It's eyes look up at me an Grayson, shining a snowy white colour, like a car's headlights. I gaze up at Grayson, who is looking at me, and blush.
"What?" I ask, curiously.
He chuckles and smiles, "Nothing."
I just look back down to the where the cat was, shaking away that random stare and see that the small black cat is now go. Grayson begins walking again and tugs on my hand, signaling for me to move. I look back up and continue walking besides him, once again not knowing where we are going.
After a short, silent walk, we arrive at one of the parks from earlier and smile. It's like he read my mind.
"Race you to the swing set." He challenges, looking towards the small playground, we were in a few hours ago. This boy really is something.
"Bu-" I begin to say, tiredly. But before I am able to finsh, he is already hot on his feet, sprinting downs the two red swings.
I roll my eyes playfully and begin as fast as I can, eventhough Gray is already waiting for me. When I reach him, he stands up and walks over to the other swing, standing behind it. I sit down on it, as he motions for me to sit down and starts pushing me slowly. I relax as the swing gently sways back and forth, obviously using up Grayson energy and sigh quietly.
"Five hours." He says softly, continuing to push me on the kids swing set.
"What?" I ask, frowing my brows.
"Only five hours left of the day." He says again softly, this time stopping the swing.
"We'll see eachother after this though." I whisper quietly, not wanting to think about the fact we don't have that long left of the day.
He mumbles something under his breath as I stand up fror the set of the swing and turn to face him. I couldn't hear what he was saying, but being the type of person I am, I didn't ask him to repete it and let it go. After standing silent for a moment, I pull him in to an embrace, the swing still in between us.
His body is pressed up against mine, as his warm body heat covers mine and I let out a satisfied hum. The air around us is still cold, but his warmth quickly warms me up.
Gray pulls back slightly, lifting his chin up above me and I feel his heart race a little faster. I gaze up at his flawless face and see a smile tugging at the ends of his lips.
Thinking about what his looking at, I stare up at the black blanket which is covering us.. This layers of clouds have driffed away, once again leaving a sky full of bright, sparkling balls of fire.
The view above us is breath taking, as I remember when me and my family would go stargazing whenever there was a clear sky, just like to night.
"Make a wish, Princess." Grayson whispers to me, still glancing above us.
Princess?
I swallow slightly, thinking about what he just called me. No one's said line to me in a while. I shake my head, forgetting my current thoughts and look up to my left to see a shooting star.
A simple wish, It's just one simple wish. Taking a small deep breath, I close my eyes briefly and make my wish, before opening them up again.
Grayson pulls away from me slowly and looks down at me. I smile at him and hug him once more before we begin walking away from the red swings. I wait for moment before turning my head towards him and breaking the silence.
"Did you make a wish?" I ask, wanting to know for some odd reason.
"Yes." He mutters, now looking at me.
I nod my head and he smiles at me. We begin talking about random things like cars and books, still getting to know eachother more, but I keep drifting off. My subconsious drowns out Gray's voice, while I think about the current question flying around my head.
What did he wish for?
