I ran up the steps as fast as I could, the ice slipping under my feet. As I came to the door of Mora's Magic Mystics, owned by my grandmother. I rang the door bell as usual the door opened wide to greet me. My grandmother, looking more cantankerous than normal mildly said,"What?" Then I heard a shout and her expression changed . " Oh no," she said,"That man just slipped and almost got run over!"I turned and saw a man kneeling at a crosswalk breathing deeply. He sat down and looked at his knee.

"Sir are you okay," I asked.

"I'm alright, but I think my leg is broken." My grandmother gasped and immediately ran inside to call an ambulance. When the ambulance arrived they put the man on a stretcher and pulled him into the back of the ambulance.

"He'll be fine right?" I asked. The paramedics said not to worry and that he would be walking again in no time. I gave a sigh of relief, my grandmother invited me inside. We had hot cocoa while talking about how we hoped he would get better soon.
