Hammering. That's what I felt when I came to. I groaned and lifted my my hand the feel my head. I opened my eyes to darkness and I remembered everything that happened yesterday. Oh my god. I completely embarrassed myself in front of Viven and Derek. I cant believe I fainted.
I heard a door creak and looked to see Rachel "How you feeling love?"
"Usual migraine." I moaned. I hated migraines, like headaches were nothing compared to these suckers. I usually had to go into a dark room with a wet towel and take an excessive amount of some pills Rachel had.
"Figured you'd have one after fainting so I brought these" she spoke as she placed a towel over my head. I looked to see she had about 3 pills I her hand.
"Have I ever told you how much I loved you" I said taking the pills and dry swallowing them. My migraine slowly going down.
"So it's currently 10am and you've slept almost a day. If you want some breakfast it's almost done" Rachel spoke
I did a double take when she said I slept almost a day. It sure didn't feel like a day it only felt like a couple hours.
"I guess I should get up and shower. Is my luggage here?"
"Yes it's already unpacked and all that. Don't worry I did it" she said
"Thanks Rachel" I smiled slowly getting up. I groaned at my migraine that was still present a bit.
"Take your time love" Rachel softly spoke holding me up. I groaned softly holding my head. Why aren't the pills working?
The door was softly opened and in walked both Derek and Viven. Both looked at what was happening and rushed over to where we were.
"What happened" Derek said as he put me back into bed. I smiled at him thankfully. He smiled back and pulled my hair back to touch my forehead to check for fever. Viven was on the other side making sure I was tucked in. I smiled at her also and she touched my arm.
"She's burning up" Derek spoke. I didn't feel like I had a fever.
"She usually has these migraines every month or so. She usually takes some pills and it's over, but it seems like the pills aren't working anymore." Rachel explained. She was trying to mask her worries, but I could see right through it.
Both Derek and Viven looked at each other. Worried expressions were worn by both of them as they stayed by my bedside. These people are so loving I mean I just meet them yesterday and here they are caring for me like I was their own child.
"I'm fi-" I said when I was hit with a pain that felt like hammers in my head. I screamed as the pain intensified and suddenly it felt like I was on fire.
I could faintly hear the sounds of talking as I cried/screamed.
"Aunt Rachel" I cried.
"Yes Gemma I'm here hold on we're getting help"
"Gemma sweetie hold on" Viven's voice soothed.
"Get Dr. Dawn over here now" Derek demanded.
"She's only 17. She's not suppose to shift until she's 18! That's what the prophecy said"
"What the fuck are y-you talking about" I moaned out as the pain kept intensifying more and more.
"Gemma Jane Rose Dashwood watch your mouth" Rachel spoke sternly.
"Soz" I said as new voices emerged in the room.
"Your highness called?"
"Hel- he- she's only 17. The proph- said no- until 18" Derek's voice spoke fading in and out. Aw shit I was so not ready to die. Not yet please god.
"Gemma darling, can you hear me?"
"Am I dead yet?" I asked stupidly.
A chuckle was heard "No not yet Princess"
A sting in my arm suddenly cooled the fire that was burning me.
I then heard some sort of chanting coming from what sounded like Rachel's voice. The language was unfamiliar to me, but the pain was subsiding.
"Gemma how are you feeling now love?" Rachel called
"Just peachy" I said sarcastically
"Oh mind that mouth Gemma. Answer me seriously."
"I'm sore now, but the pain went away. What happened?" I moaned
"We have to tell her" Viven whispered
"Tell me what?" I asked. Both Viven and Derek turned to face me.
"You heard that?" Derek asked
"Of course Viven only whispered it"
Viven rushed to Rachel. "You have to compel her. She can't know. Not yet"
"Compel me? What are you looneys talking about?"
"Are you sure?" Rachel asked.
"Yes" Viven spoke sternly
Rachel looked me dead in the eye and spoke "Gemma you will forget everything that happened. Only remember waking up and getting a migraine. Then you went back to rest"

VERY SHORT I KNOW BUT I WAS PUT ON SOME NEW MEDICATION THAT HAS ME PUKING EVERYTHING I EAT ((TMI OMG SOZ)))
Also I know my updating schedule isn't to a t but just keep in mind I'm super busy with school. Im graduating high school soon but I'm also having health issues so I'm trying to sort everything out before I leave my home and venture out to the world!!!
