"Deal" Rachel spoke before I could say yes.
"Fantastic" the lady's eyes popped as she got up from her desk.
"I'll have you go to wardrobe and makeup right now so they can work on you. However I feel like they wouldn't need to do a lot of work. I just want to do a simple shoot for now just to get your profile started so I can send out your profile to job offers" she explained
She escorted out to the elevators and said that the room we would be in for the next hours was on the 6th floor. I smiled and thanked her as Rachel and I got onto the elevator.
"OH MY GOD RACHEL IT'S HAPPENING!" I screamed once we were alone on the elevator.
She laughed as she hugged me. "I knew you'd get the spot love!"
"Oh god I have to tell everyone back home!" I spoke as I took out my phone. I texted both Matt and Ashlynn in a group chat.
I heard Rachel dialling a number before she spoke "Meet us here in 3 hours!" I looked at her confusedly before responding to the group chat.
She talked a bit mumbling a couple words here and there then hung up.
"Who's that?" I asked
"Derek and Viven" she spoke
"Oh, they're coming here?"
"Yeah, they were excited to see you got the job"
I thought about how sweet the gesture to come and see me was kind. I nodded and smiled as the doors opened. The sleek grey metallic doors lined up the halls making everything a bit confusing when trying to look for the mock model room.
I saw the directory near the window and went to look at it. Rachel suddenly had to go answer a call from work so she went to the lounge by the elevators to sit and talk.
I was looking at the jumbled letters and numbers when I felt someone next to me. I looked to see a man of older age looking at the board too. He had pepper grey hair along with a board of matching colour. His built was fit and he was wearing a grey suit.
"Lost too?" He asked a smile gracing his face.
I smiled back "This place is too big for its own good."
He chuckled and turned to fully stare at me. Weird. I backed away a little bit as he got closer.
"Are you lost too?" I asked a bit nervously now.
"No, I seen to have found what I was looking for" he smiled
I smiled but it felt more like a grimace. "Well then I best be on my way" I said as I side stepped him to go find Rachel.
He grabbed my upper arm and gave it a tight squeeze "I don't think so Princess"
I backed away "Heyo! Look here buddy it's not polite to grab women!"
"Humour. I love it" he chucked as he started dragging me. I grunted as I tried to free myself from his iron grip. I felt my body sweat as I looked around for any weapons.
"Let me go" I said
"No"
I felt my body on fire as I struggled more. "I said. Let. Me. Go!" I screamed. As soon as I screamed the man flew from where he was standing. His grip no longer on me as he flew into the wall. Things all around me floated in the air. I looked around in panic. What the fuck.
"Okay. Rachel! This is not funny anymore I don't like pranks!" I said laughing.
"What the hell are you!?" The man screamed. I looked to where he was and noticed more men beside him. All had glowing eyes and their teeth bared out. What the fuck?!
