"Gemma darling" a soft voice spoke.
I looked around dazed and confused. I was laying down on a white bed within a white room. Everything white.
"Hello?" I asked. I looked around to see nothing but white. What the hell?
"Darling Gemma, don't be frightened" a woman spoke suddenly coming into view. She was wearing a white flower dress with blonde locks that surrounded her pale frame. Her brown eyes stood out like doe eyes. Her soft facial features made me calm somehow.
"Hello?"
"My child, you've seem to have awaken your powers. Don't be alarmed you won't gain all of them at once, but please be aware of yourself now"
"Wait! Can you please explain what the hell is going on? One minute I'm going to a mock shoot then next it's like World War three happening on the floor. I saw men and a lady with glowing eyes and teeth like wolves. I heard a voice in my head explaining but I think I'm losing it. Please tell me I'm crazy"
She chuckled softly as she put my hair behind my ear. "My child you are not crazy. Everything that happened is true including the voice in your head. Learn to trust her. Her name is Charlotte she'll be your guide through all of this. The Moon Goddess assigned her for a special reason. As for the wolves part, yes there are supernatural creatures that roam this earth. You are in fact one of them. You're what is known as a hybrid. Half witch half wolf. However you haven't shifted yet since you haven't turned 18. Just know you are special. You can talk to me whenever you'd like just think of me. It's been a pleasure talking to you"
"Wait! What's a moon goddess?" I asked
"Why my dear I haven't time to explain everything just know she'll be a big part of your life seeing as you'll take her place next"

White filled my vision as I felt like a fish out of water. I jolted awake in a Manila coloured room. I had an oxygen machine hooked up to me along with a heart monitor and an IV. I lifted my arms up as I tried to see what was wrong with me. My arms and legs seemed okay, but my head weighed like a ton of bricks. I groaned as I held my head shielding my eyes from the brightly lit room.
"I should probably turn that down for someone who just woke up from a week long coma" a voice spoke from the door as the lights dimmed.
I looked to see Weston or Stefan I still can't tell the two twins apart, walk in. His bleach blonde hair was sticking up from all directions meaning he had rubbed his hand through it too much. His eyes looked tired as bags made a huge appearance.
"Hey" I said groggily.
"How are you feeling?" He asked as he passed me a cup of cold water. He pulled up a seat next to me and smiled.
I sipped eagerly at the water and smiled back. "Like hell. What happened? I feel like I've been in a movie of some sort"
He winced "I'll wait for Mother and Father to come to explain that"
"Explain what? Please tell me I'm not crazy"
He chuckled. "No you're not crazy"
I sighed "So everything that happened actually happened?"
"Yes"
"I have powers of some sort?"
"That appears to be the case." He said focused on my reaction
"And you guys are werewolves?"
"Yes" he said slowly. His eyes scanned me carefully like I was going to jump out the window the next second.
"Okay" I chuckled. This was just one big joke I know.
"What's funny?" Weston/Stefan asked cautiously.
"You guys are great pranksters. I mean setting this all up! That was some class effects with the flying of everyone and the eyes! Oh the eyes! How'd they get that to happen?!"
"Gemma" he spoke slowly.
"C'mon Weston?" I asked dragging out his name to make sure I had the right one. He nodded in confirmation.
"Well Weston, this whole thing is a joke right? I mean Rachel is quite the prankster. I just can't believe she got everyone in on it. Including the model agency!" I said laughing.
Weston looked at me worriedly. "Gemma please understand. This is not a joke. This is real and we are wolves"
I looked at him as he spoke. His face held no signs of joking whatsoever. It began to sink in that maybe this was not no joke. I felt and heard my heartbeat speed up. The heart monitor pacing went incredibly fast. I felt Weston's hand grab mine as to calm to me down.
Oh my god. Oh my god. This was real. Wolves. Witches. This is real. Oh my god.
"This is something from the Vampire Diaries isn't it? Or like Hemlock Grove?" I asked
"Sort of like that" he spoke softly.
A knock on the door followed by a man walking in snapped us away from our conversation.
"Hello Gemma, I'm Dr. Phillips and I'll examine you now. Please Weston excuse us."
Weston sighed as he got up from us seat. The Dr then came and did the usual checkup. The flashlight in the eyes, the check of the blood pressure and heart. He smiled contently to himself as he wrapped things up.
"Okay love, you seem to be fine. I'll let everyone know so they can come in. I've winded up everyone as I only let 1 person at a time in since I didn't know your condition, but they'll be glad to find out you're okay. Just rest up okay" I nodded as he spoke to ensure him I was listening.
But in fact I wasn't.
I looked around the room to see a window open a smudge. I was thinking of a plan to get out of this mental place before everyone came in.
He nodded and was soon on his way. I slid the needle out as I had seen many times before from crime shows. Crazy I know but desperate times call for desperate measures. I jumped off the bed, wobbly at first, but soon got use to the feeling of walking and went to the window.
Oh thank god i was on the first floor. I used all my strength and pushed open the window. The breeze hit me like a tease. I looked back to hear people almost at the door. I panicked and leapt out the window without thinking. I awaited the pain of the fall, but I was greeted by soft grass.
I heard yelling coming from my window and took that as my cue to run for it. I ran away from the hospital, into the woods. The hospital was in a secluded part of the woods so getting out of this was going to be a challenge I had yet to think about.
Growls and howls were heard as I ran into the woods.
Oh boy, this is going to be harder than I thought
