6: The ex-boyfriend

Natalie's POV

"I miss those days. I miss us." a familiar voice said.

"What?" I turned around to see my ex-boyfriend, Jay. My expression immediately changed from happy to confused to angry.

"Miss me?" Jay asks me with a smile. I scoff.

"Hell no. What the fuck do you want?" I say in pure anger.

"Woah, woah, woah. Chill babe. I just happened to see you a moment ago and came to say hi." Jay says to me and reaches out to me. I slap his hand away.

"I'm not your 'babe' anymore and I never will be again. You wanna say hi to someone say hi to your little bitch ass girlfriend. Are you guys still together or did she break up with your stupid ass?" at that point, I was so close to breaking stupid crack-head looking his face. I probably would have punched him if Namjoon wasn't holding my arms.

"She cheated on me and got pregnant with his baby..." he trailed off.

"Oh my god that must be so horrible for you," I say sarcastically.

"We were together for five years! And in those five years, you cheated on me with six different people! Six! I when I confronted you about it I believe your exact words were "You were really dumb not to realize." Fuck this shit." I said gave him the middle finger and Namjoon gave me the keys before I left.

Namjoon's POV

"What the hell bruh?" I said with a bored expression.

"I'm sorry. In all honesty, I wanna apologize to her," he says looking down.

"I was so stupid. Best of luck with her," he says and I can tell he's sincere and genuine about it.

"Give her some more time. You did break her heart." I say and pat his shoulder.

" I'm sure she'll forgive you eventually. Just don't expect it to be anytime soon. And don't expect to be getting back together either now that I'm here." I say as I walk out and to the car.

Natalie's POV

Namjoon came to the car and we sat in silence. At least it was until...

"THIS IS MY JAM! I'M IN THE ZONE~ WE ARE CLC~ GEUM NAWARA WARA~ EUN NAWARA WARA~ NEO NAWARA WARA~ TTUK~ TTAK~" I started screaming and dancing to all time favorite song. (Hobgoblin - CLC)

Namjoon chuckled at my sudden outburst. I realized what I was doing and calmed down.

" I'm sorry this is my favorite song." I apologize quickly. 

"Don't stop because of me," he says with a smile. Then he starts rapping to Yeeun's part.

We sing an assortment of different songs and have a lot of fun. So much fun that I'd forgotten about what had happened before.

"You're a lot of fun to be around," I say to him.

"You are too, Natalie." 

"You wanna come over and watch a movie?" I ask.

"Woah there, it's a bit early to Netflix and chill, don't you think?" he asks jokingly.

"Yah, you know that's not what I meant." 

"Of course, I'll watch the movie but don't expect anything else." he says still joking.

"Yah! I never said Netflix and chill!" I exclaim and hit him softly.

"Haha, you're fun to mess with."

When we get inside the house Jessica and Faye are sitting on the couch.

"Hey guys I'm home, and Namjoon is right behind me so please don't say anything stupid."

"Hey," Namjoon said and nodded slightly.

"Sup fam," Jess says and looks towards where the two of us are standing.

"Hey, Namjoon!" Faye greets him excitedly.

"Am I invisible?" I say and chuckle.

"Nope. Just didn't wanna acknowledge you," she says kidding.

"Oh, you love me."

"I do. Let's leave Jessica and Namjoon here to get married in Antartica!" she says as she stands up and goes to the door.

"Why are you so extra?"

"I don't know. Maybe-"

"Here come the dad jokes," Jessica warns and sighs heavily.

Faye pulled out a pack of 'EXTRA' gum from her jean pocket. "Maybe it's in my jeans!" she said and practically died laughing. 

"Bye," I say and pull Namjoon into my room and close the door.

"USE PROTECTION!" Faye shouted from outside.

"WE'RE NOT HAVING SEX!" I shout back.

"THAT'S WHAT THEY ALL SAY, NEXT THING YOU KNOW YOU'LL BE SCREAMING 'HARDER! FASTER!'! " she shouted and I blush slightly.

I turned my attention back to Namjoon who was trying extremely hard not to laugh. He gave up eventually and just burst into laughter.

"Yah! It's not funny!" I said and he tried to get himself together but failed and started laughing again.

Eventually, he gets it together and stops laughing.

"What do you wanna watch?" I ask him.

"I'm cool with anything." he responds simply.

Since neither of us had anything particular in mind, we watched a random movie.

The movie was almost over when Namjoon softly called my name.

"Natalie..."

"Yeah?" 

"I know it's only been like a whole two days, but I really like you a lot." he suddenly confesses. It's not really a surprise though 'cause they way we view each other is pretty obvious.

"I like you too." 

"Just to be clear, we are dating now, right?" Namjoon ask.

"Yep."
