(Betty's P.O.V.)

What the hell did I just watch?

"You better watch your back Jason, because karma is going to come back for you ten times harder than how you hurt Polly."

"You'll pay alright, mark my words."

What even happened between them? This is beyond crazy, and I need to get to the bottom of it.

As I stood right in front of the exit of Pop's, stuck in my thoughts, I felt a light tap on my shoulder, and turning around revealed it to be Cheryl.

Just what I need right now.

"Hello, Betty, blocking the door per ushe I see," She said in her usual snarky tone.

"Hello, Cheryl," I said back, trying to imitate her tone. "I'm sorry, let me move out of your way."

As I started walking past her out of Pop's, she took my phone, noticing that I was watching something on it.

"And what might you be watching here, Miss Cooper?" She said in a curious, but also devilish manner.

I was in no mood for games, so I immediately started reaching for my phone.

"Cheryl, may I please have my phone back?" I ask in an annoyed, but polite tone.

As I reached for it again, she put her finger to her lips, and then mine.

"Now Betty, we don't just reach for things all willy-nilly," She began telling me as she suddenly started walking towards an empty booth. "Come, dear, let's sit and discuss."

As I started walking over to her, she began shouting her order at me.

"To go, please. I have a place I want to show you. Please and thank you!" She said, flashing a smile. "Oh, and feel free to order whatever you want too, wouldn't want you to starve yourself of course.

I ignored her last comment and made my way towards the ordering counter.

Once I placed our order, I made my way back to our booth, and saw Cheryl's face; cold, saddened, shocked, angry. She watched the video.

I slowly sat down, not knowing whether she'd start yelling at me or not. The silence was overbearing, so I broke it.

"Cheryl?" I say with worry evident in my voice.

Cheryl looked up with anger in eyes before replying.

"Betty, I'm okay. I'm really okay."

"Cheryl, I know you are feeling the same way I am about that video," I said anxiously. "And we definitely need to get to the bottom of this."

Cheryl just sat there quietly and then after a breath, continued talking.

"You know, in any other situation, I'd give you a sassy remark, but this is about Jason, and as you know, he was the most important thing in my life. I need to know what happened to him, whatever the means may be."

I took Cheryl's hand and sensed her sadness.

"I think it is time we left Cheryl. Come over to my place. We can talk more about a game plan there, okay?"

Cheryl looked like she wanted to cry and scream, but nodded her head in agreement.

I looked at Cheryl and shot her a sweet smile, and picked up our to-go order and left.

After a 10 minute drive from Pop's, we eventually pull up outside my house. I unbuckle my seatbelt and exited the car, when I realized that Cheryl was still sitting in there.
"Cheryl, are you coming?" I asked her curiously.
