(Archie's P.O.V.)

It had been a bit of a rough night, to say the least. I couldn't sleep with all of these thoughts going through my mind. I laid in bed thinking about Jughead, and Jason.

"How did life become so complicated all of sudden?" I spoke aloud to myself, throwing a pillow over my face to try and close my eyes.

I just kept thinking about how hurt he'd be when I told him the truth. I practically cheated on him, and I didn't even mean to. Jason wasn't planned, it just happened.. around the same time that things happened with Jughead.

Regardless of who I started seeing first, I was a dirtbag for letting my emotions for both guys get in the way of the fact that I was two-timing. Everything about this was a mess, and I needed to come up with a way to fix it without ruining what I had with Jug.

Between everything that happened over the summer and within the last few weeks with Jug, Jason, and Miss Grundy, my emotions were all over the place, and my heart felt like it was being pulled in a hundred different directions.

I kept thinking about everything as I slowly drifted off to sleep.

The Next Morning....

I got to school a bit before it started and hectically looked up and down the hallways, keeping my eyes open for Jughead. It was imperative that I find him. I've messed things up enough as it is, and I really can't bear to make another mistake. I need to make things right.

I scoured the halls looking for him, dodging students left and right. I asked Josie and Ethel if they'd seen him anywhere, but no dice. I decided to give up searching for the time being, and went to my locker, where I saw a familiar face waiting for me.

"Hey Betty," I greeted her with a warm but nervous smile."Have you heard from Jughead?" I asked with a hopeful demeanor.

She shook her head.

"Negative."

I turned to her with a frown upon my face as I leaned on my locker, slowly slipping down onto the floor.

"I just want to tell him the truth about everything, before he hears it from someone else." I sighed.

Betty slumped down next to me, resting her head on my shoulder.

"I understand Arch," She started. We'll find him so you both can talk about the fling, okay? Betty said as she wrapped her arm around me.

I sighed heavily and began unloading what was on my mind to her.

"Betty," I started. "I've really messed things up, I mean with me being with Jason and Jughead, as well as what happened with Miss Grundy recently, I just have so many different things going on, and so many different emotions that I'm feeling.

She looked up at me as I was talking, and then began to speak once I finished.

"Whenever I was faced with a very difficult situation or decision, my mom made me play a little game," she began to explain as she covered my eyes with her hands.

"So close your eyes and try and relax your mind and body."

I did as she told me, and took a few deep breaths before feeling a bit more at ease.
