Weekend alone

You had just gotten done with breakfast, a simple eggs and toast. Makoto had the same. You went upstairs to change into something nice. You picked out [favorite color] tank top and shorts. You took your [random color] baseball hat and went out, a black and white jacket tied around your waist. Makoto was about to go and change, but you stop him.

"Your clothes are in the washer. I'm washing them before you put them on." You say, going to the fridge for a drink.

"Oh, um, thank you." He says. You heard a knock on the door. You answer it. It was Nagisa and Haru. And a redhead..

"[name]! This is Gou! You know, Rin's sister!" Nagisa says. She sighs.

"It's Kou. Not Gou." She says.

"[name]! Is it true Makoto spent the night?!" Nagisa asks. I nod. Makoto peeps his head out and says hi, before going back in.

"Did you guys have s-" nagisa is cut off by Haru shoving a hand on his mouth. I blush.

"N-no! N-Nagi-chan, wh-why would you think that?!" I ask in surprise.

"Don't pay attention to him, [name], he had 4 big slices of melon bread this morning." Haru says. I nod.

"We have something to tell you, [name]!" Nagisa says. I look at him, puzzled. "We're opening a swim club!" He says. My eyes widen with glee. Makoto comes to the door as he hears swim club.

"Oh. My god. When?!" I ask.

"After we clean the pool and fill it..." Nagisa says.

"We'll be there in a few minutes, you guys go." Makoto says.

I look at the pool. It was weed ridden, it had plants growing in the cracks, it was a mess.

"Let's do this." I say in determination.
~~after cleaning up the pool~~
The pool looked absolutely brand new. We just needed to fill it. (After filling it) we had gotten it filled, and Haru takes off his clothes. He dives in and starts swimming.

"Ack! Haru! It's the middle April! Get out of the pool!" I say, panicked.

"He's in his zone....what'd I tell you about letting him into his zone?!" Makoto screams at Nagisa. Nagisa backs up, but then steps forward.

"You said to not let him into his zone!" Nagisa screamed back.

"I know what I said!" Makoto yells. I have had enough. I shove them into the pool.

"[name]-chan!" Nagisa whines. I giggle and fist bump Kou.

I walk into class, behind Nagisa. I see a blue haired guy with red glasses, studying.

"Why are you studying? We're about to start class." I ask. He looks up.

"I can study whenever I want." He says.

"[last name] [name]. What's your name?"

"Ryugazaki Rei. It's nice to meet you, [last name]-kun. You have a beautiful name." He says. I blush lightly. (Her we go again, beautiful this beautiful that.)

"Oh, thank you. I heard your name before.....are you on the track team?" I ask.

"Hai." He responds.

"I've seen you practice before. Your form is amazing." I say.

"Thank you." He says. "Do you...want to be study partners?"

"I don't need help, thank you. I have an A+ in this class. And A's and B's in other classes. And a C in one class." I say.

"I could help you in the class you have a C in. Which class is it?" He asks. I stare blankly.

"Elizabethan Poetry." I say. He gets taken aback.

"You're probably the only one in there. I don't know anyone who take Elizabethan Poetry. I'll help you, anyway." He says.

"Ok.....in exchange of one thing." I say.

"Hai?"

"Join the swim club." I say. He gasps, and puts down his book. He pushes up his glasses.

"I'm sorry. I can't I've already joined the track team. Plus swimming is not a beautiful sport. Track is." He say. I sweatdrop. Nagisa nervously laughs.

"Good luck next time, [name]." Nagisa says.

"No! I will make him join the swim team! Whether it kills me or not." I say with a determined look on my face.

I was on the train, sitting with a bag of Mascot carvings that Haru made and posters. I look up and see Ryugazaki-kun reading a book and holding onto a hook. He looks at me.

"Noticing the 42 mascot chains you have in your bag and the 18 posters that's also in the bag, you're trying to get people on the swim club. Including me. The answer is no. We had this talk earlier." He says. I stare at him blankly.

"I didn't say anything." I said. He give me a death glare.

"You are trying to get me on the swim team, correct?" He asks. I nod. "Better luck next time. This is my stop." He says.

"Wait, Ryugazaki-kun! We're in the middle of a field!" I say. He gets off. He starts jogging. With the same pace of the TRAIN.

"How can he do that?!" I ask, looking out the window. I see him at my stop. "Ryugazaki-kun! Please! Let me show you how good the swim team is! Do you know Nanase Haruka?" I ask.

"The guy who's beautiful at swimming? Yes. I know him." He says.

"He's on the swim team! So is Hazuki Nagisa and Tachibana Makoto!" I say. "And the other reason, beside your form being awesome, that I want you on the swim team is..." he leans in.

"You have a girly name but your a boy!" I finish.

"WHAT?!" He says, outraged.

"Rei is a girl's name! Just like Haruka, Nagisa, and Makoto is! Kou, the manager, name's actually Gou! Hell, my name is sort of boyish! Is some ways...but still!" I say. Rei has a priceless look on his face.

"Fine! Will you stop bugging me about the swim team is I join?!" He says. My eyes shine like they're made of glitter.

"Hai!" I say. I hand him an application. He quickly fills it out.

"I'll take it to Matsouak-kun tomorrow! Alright?!" He says.

"I'll see you later, Ryugazaki-kun! Arigato!" I say before walking away. He sighs.

"[name]-chan! You got Rei-chan to join?!" Nagisa says in surprise.

"Hai! He said he'd come today with the application i gave him." I say. Sure enough, Rei turns the corner into the pool area.

"I have agreed to join the swim club on one condition." He says. "I won't swim." He says.

"EH?!" We all say.
