Something Smells Fishy

Chapter 13

“Liam! Have you seen my notebook?” I asked as we went to our lockers after class. He shook his head and I went back to the room. I looked under my chair and after finding it Harry was standing there blocking the door. “Left something Thirlwall? He said. “Can you please just stop Styles! You will never have me. Why can't you understand that?” I retorted. “I'm not here for that, I'm here to say sorry Jade. I really am. I started doing therapy last week, I've become obsessed and I want to be cured.” he responded. “I don't believe you.” I snapped at him and Liam came in “Why can't you just leave Jade alone Styles.” Liam said as he approached me and took my hand. “I'm not here to make you believe in me, I'm here to apologize to you.” he said scratching the back of his neck. “I know, I've been the biggest jerk to you and to Louis.” he added. “Then prove it. Say sorry to Louis. Let's go Liam.” I said and I pulled Liam away.

We went to our next class, I remained quiet for the entire period, still furious because Harry thinks that his apology was enough. “Don't fill your heart with hate JadeyMouse.” Liam said as we left the room and went to the library. “How can I not Li? He did unimaginable things.” I said. “I know Jade, but it's better to have a peaceful heart.” he responded. “I know Li, but it's hard to heal easily.” I answered and he just placed his arms around my shoulder and gave me a smile.

Lunch was quiet that is until Jesy and Niall kept teasing each other. “Hey, how about we go to the movies?” Jesy suggested after playing with Niall's hair. “Sounds good, what time and which movie?” I asked as I ate my salad. “How about a horror movie!” Zayn suggested. “Nope! They make me hyperventilate.” Perrie said “Disney movies?” Liam said “Gay!” Niall shouted and Liam threw potato skins at Niall's face and Niall just caught it and ate it. What a classic! “I just love those movies okay.” Liam responded and we tried hard not to laugh. “How about the new movie? What's it called?” I told them “Let's just stay in, watch DVDs that we have and decide there.” Niall said out of the blue. “Genius! My boyfriend is a total genius.” Jesy suddenly screamed. “Who's house?” Perrie asked. “How about ours?” I answered and we all agreed. “So after classes, well go to the Pizza Place order 4 boxes of pizza and wait for Louis, I'll tell him to get Chinese.” I said and then we went back to our classes.

After our classes, we all met up at the Pizza Place and Louis arrived there panting. “You okay?” I asked and he kisses me in my cheeks. “What has gotten into you Lou?” I asked in shock. “Harry went to school awhile ago, he said he's sorry. That I can get back together with you and after he said that I rushed here so that I can kiss my girlfriend.” he said as he tried to catch his breath. “You believed him?” I asked “I didn't have to, I don't care Jade. I had the chance to hold my girlfriend in my arms again and I am not letting that slip by.” he answered. “Jade, I don't believe him but the chance to have you back in my arms is enough for me.” he added and he hugged me. “I didn't agree to get back together.” I teased him “Don't you want to?” he asked. “I would love to have you as my boyfriend Tomlinson. I'd love that very much.” I said and I pecked his lips. “So let's go?” Liam said. “You just had to wreck the moment didn't you mate?” Louis said with a grin. “Were's the Chinese?” Niall then asked. “I'll go get it right now, Let's go Jade?” he asks and we went together. The others ordered Pizza and went to the house.

As we entered our favorite Chinese Restaurant (yes we love Chinese food) we were greeted by the waiter and we ordered. We sat and waited for our order, suddenly we saw Leigh-Anne enter, she approached us. “Louis, Jade. I'm sorry for what I did. I was drunk all the time, I didn't know what got to me, I'm trying to be sober now.” she immediately blurted out. “Why so sudden?” Louis asks coldly. “Lou, let's give her a chance, we gave Harry a chance remember?” I said and he nodded. “Fine, I'll forgive you just because Jade told me to.” he said and she left there. It was odd, why would Harry and Leigh-Anne just give up that easily but nevertheless Louis and I were happy to be back together.

We arrived at the house and saw all of them playing twister. “Yow we got Chinese.” I said in a hip-hop manner and they all laughed at me. “What?” I asked innocently. “I love it when you turn ghetto.” Louis said and he kissed my cheeks. “FOOOOOOOOD!” Niall screams and grabs the paper bags out from our hands. “Honey! Will you behave.” Jesy exclaims. “Well aren't they sweet.” Perrie teases and Zayn laughs so loudly that we just stared at him “What?” he then asks innocently. “Well, Zayn, you seem to love that joke huh.” Liam teases and raises his thick eyebrows. Zayn just playfully punches Liam. “Let's eat!” Jesy then says as she prepared the food, bless Jesy and her motherly instinct.

We played more twister and watched A Walk To Remember, The Vow, Les Miserables, Brave and (lucky for the boys) Skyfall. After that we all started chatting and throwing popcorn at each other. “Don't you think its a little odd that Harry and Leigh-Anne just gave up that easy?” Niall said out of nowhere. “And they did it the same time.” Jesy added wiping Niall's face, because it looked like he had a butter for a beard. “I think it's odd and weird but at least Louis and I are back together.” I answered with a smile. “It just doesn't feel all too right for me.” Niall says and Liam nods. “I agree, I think this is just another plan of theirs.” he added. “Or maybe they just are truly sorry.” Zayn buts in. “Harry also told me those things and I accompanied him to his psychiatrist's office. I think he might be serious.” he adds. “I doubt it, Leigh-Anne is sneaky, you should watch your back.” Perrie then says. “We'll be ready for whatever they plan. They can't just let them tear us apart again.” Louis then said and we all went back to playing monopoly and other board games.

We all slept in the floor with our sleeping bags, Jesy was cuddling with Niall who was snoring a little bit. Liam was sleeping on the floor and he was drooling a little bit. Zayn on the other hand was hugging Perrie. I knew it, Zayn liked Perrie, I giggled a little and took a photo. Louis and I were still awake. “Why'd you took a picture babe?” he asks as he hugged me. “I never knew Zayn liked anyone so yeah, I can tease him now.” I said. “Aww babe, you are so mean.” he said with a smile. “Want to go out and gaze at the stars?” he asks “Nah! I just want to lay here with you and stare at your face until I can memorize it.” I said. I could see Louis blushing. “Aww babe, are you blushing?” I teased. “Stop making me blush babe.” he says. “I love you babe.” I said. “I love you too babe. More than you can ever imagine.” he said. We cuddled and fell asleep hugging each other.

I knew the whole Harry and Leigh-Anne truce was too good to be true but I was happy and that was what mattered right now. Maybe it was temporary but I was willing to risk this temporary happiness as long as Louis was with me. I knew there was something that we didn't know, but looking ahead wasn't something I planned to do, I was going to stay here in the present and cherish every moment that we had missed.
