(Y/n) (l/n) was born Amity. Her parents, (d/n) and (m/n) were loving and kind. (Y/n) had a brother and a sister. (B/n) and (g/n) were their names.

Present day
Today is harvest festival. (F/n) and I braided our hair with flowers and leaves. She wore a red skirt and yellow shirt. I wore a yellow underdress and a red overdress like apron.

We got our books in our baskets and walked to school with a group of other Amity children. Some of them were having the tests today. Like (b/n). He was petrified. He almost didn't eat his oatmeal, he loves oatmeal!

At school I saw the Dauntless make their grand entrance, Candor having a debate, Erudite kids sitting in a group reading and Abnigation children standing like stick men.

The Dauntless were climbing the statue. A scream was heard and I spun around to find a girl lying on the floor with her leg twisted in an awkward position.

Candor kids started a debate about how she could have fallen. Erudite started calculating the possibility of death, Dauntless kept climbing higher.

I rushed forward and c raddled the girls head. An Abnigation girl came forward.

"Get the nurse!" I instructed.

She ran off and I started braiding the girls hair and singing softly to her.

My mother says I have a voice as sweet as honey, as smooth as silk, as beautiful as sunset, as soothing as a cool breeze and as calm as the lake.

The girl soon fell asleep when the girl came back with the nurse.

The girl had blonde hair and pale skin. She was tiny and undoubtedly a year younger then me. We both helped the nurse carry her to the clinic.

"I'm (y/n)." I said to the girl after we left the clinic.

"Beatrice." She said quietly. Somebody yelled at her to go over to where he was standing. Probably her brother.

First I had science. I walked and I was not looking were I was going. I walked into something, or someone.

I lay sprawelled out on the floor when I looked up to find a hand offered to me.

I met deep blue eyes. Like pools, that if you dive in you may never come up for air, because they were so deep.

I blinked and saw gray clothes.

"I'm sorry I wasn't looking were I was going." I apologised.

"No need to apologise, I'm an idiot." The boy said with a deep almost thunder like voice, but very quiet.

"Dont call yourself an idiot." I said taking his hand. They were rough yet soft. And warm.

"I'm Abnigation, part of the job description," he whispered. He was a good head taller then me when I was on my own two feet again.

"Well, I'm Amity. And part of my job description is kindness. To yourself and others." I said lifting my chin higher.

"Youve got class." He said as soon as the bell rang.

I then ran off to science.
