Krestena's Second Year: Book 2

Azkaban Visit

Krestena's POV

It's my birthday and Uncle Remus has a special surprise for me. Harry hasn't replied to any of my or Hermione and Ron's letters. Ron sent me a letter that  they'd (Fred, George and Ron) would collect Harry themselves on his birthday. I sent him a letter saying to let me know how it goes. I was going to Malfoy Manor in a few days to spend the night and go to Diagon Alley. Of course none of my friends know this except for Cedric.

"Storm are you ready to go yet?" Uncle Remus calls from downstairs.

"Coming Uncle" I call back and place my wand in my jacket pocket. Then go to the stairs and slide down the railing as usual. Once there I put on my black and purple high-tops.

"You didn't have to do that" Uncle Remus mutters.

"You sounded like it was urgent I got here quickly and that is the quickest way. Aside from jumping over the railing" I say thoughtful.

"Don't even think about it young lady" he tells me sternly and I giggle.

"Only joking dear Uncle" I tell him smiling innocently. He rolled his eyes as I stand up be side him. "Where we going?" I ask.

"We're apperating and it's a surprise" he tells me, but I could see sadness and betrayal in his eyes. He blinked and the looks were gone as he held his arm out to me. I linked my arm with it and gave him a nod before he apperated. We appeared in front on a tower on an island in the middle of the ocean.

"Is this?" I ask looking around and he nods his head knocking my the door. It opened to reveal an old, but strong looking wizard who asked for our names. Uncle Remus gave them and the wizard let us in.

"Please come this way we have expected your arrival" a middle aged witch tells us. We follow her into an other room. "Now due to security reasons I'll need to take your wands and perform a body search" she explains. I tried to look innocent, but Uncle Remus gave me a stern look and I sighed withdrawing my wand and giving it to the witch. He did the same and the witch did a body search with a spell. "All clear you may go through there is a guard waiting to guide you" she tells us.

"Thank you, but it is Krestena who is going" Uncle Remus states.

"You aren't coming Uncle?" I ask nervous. 

"No this is your present" he tells me with a sad smile. "I trust your guard will ensure nothing happens to my goddaughter" he states looking at the witch.

"Of course, I guarantee it Remus old friend" she assures him.

"You have an hour Krestena, I'll be here when you return" Uncle Remus assures me. I give him a hug before walking through the door. The guard didn't look surprised I was alone and told me to follow him. We reach a bare room that has to chairs in it and one of them had a man chained to it.

"You have an hour I'll be just outside" the guard states and leaves. I walk over to the man and stand in front of him and he lifts his head.

"Rachel?" he asks looking at me in shock.

"No it's me Daddy" I tell him shaking my head and I had tears in my eyes seeing him like this.

"Krestena is that really you my little Princess?" he asks and tries to stand. But can't due to the chains around him. I nod my head taking a step toward him before jumping into his lap wrapping my arms around his neck. "You look just like your mother" he whispers in my ear.

"Everyone says that and say I have your personality" I tell him smiling as I pulled away. "Just last year at school I turned the Slytherin robes and hair bright pink for an hour" I state. He chuckles.

"Chip off the old block" he states.

"That's want Uncle Moony says" I tell him.

"How is he?" Dad asks.

"He's well they came up with a potion to help him with his transformations. Makes him keep his mind when he turns" I explain. "But I am learning to become an animagus like you and Uncle James to help him" I state proudly. "I'm also a Chaser on the Gryffindor Quidditch team and training to be captain one day" I explain.

"I've missed out on so much of your life" he states gloomily.

"I don't blame you Daddy and I believe you're innocent" I tell him. He gave me a confused look. "I don't remember much about the night mum died, just that you had left to check on Peter Pettigrew for some reason. Then her telling me to hide until Uncle Remus called for me" I explain. "Was it him Dad? Did he betray Harry's parents?" I ask in a whisper.

"Yes it was, but his dead now and can't hurt you or Harry" he states. "I promise I'll be free one day and we'll be a proper family" he promises me.

"I'd love that and Harry too?" I ask.

"Of course he is my godson after all" Dad states. "Stand up, I want to have a good look at you" he tells me. So I stand a foot in front of him and then turn slowly.

"Wait I have something you may like" I state pulling out a picture from my pocket. "This is picture of Harry and I during Christmas" I tell him showing him the photo. "Everyone says he looks like Uncle James, but has Aunt Lily's eyes" I tell him.

"He does and he looks just like James when he was eleven" Dad states smiling. "Can I have it?" he asks. I nod my head saying I have an other copy and place it in his pocket. Just then the guard comes back in as I straiten up again.

"Time to go" he tells me.

"No, please just a few more minutes?" I ask him.

"No can do say your goodbyes" he tells us sternly.

"I love you Daddy" I tell Dad giving him one more hug.

"I love you too Princess, tell Remus I said hi and thanks for looking after you" he tells me.

"I will Goodbye Daddy" I say standing up and he gives me a sad smile saying 'goodbye'. The guard lead me out of the room and back the way we'd came. Once we got back to where Uncle Remus was he left. Uncle Remus gave me a small smile as we got our wands back and we thanked the witch. Once outside Uncle Remus apperated us home where there were presents waiting.

"Uncle Remus Dad says thanks for raising me and says hello" I tell my uncle. All does is nod his head and sits in front of the unlit fire place. I sat on the floor and started opening the presents from Ron, Hermione, Hagrid, Uncle Remus, Draco, Tonks along with her parents, Fred and George. "Thanks for the amazing gifts Uncle and for a great day" I say giving him  a hug.

"Want do you want for dinner?" he asks.

"Honey soy chicken and prawn chips" I answer.

"Chinese it is then I'll go make the call, can you get the butter beer?" he asks. I nod my head and head to the kitchen. After dinner I sent letters back thanking everyone for the gifts. I was a little sad harry didn't send me anything. I just hope he's ok. After changing into my pj's and brushing my teeth I went to bed.
